It seems to be reported that if the bid is successful then AT would be given around £10m to spend on players. I just hope that what we would buy turns out to be decent because I fear this really would be our last chance to do anything as a club.

Because of this I'm not sure how I would feel if the takeover happened right at the end of the transfer window. Should AT strengthen the squad immediately, but run the risk of panic buying or should he wait, which would probably relegate us but we would have the resources to rebulid properly.

Thorn will have targets in mind but I doubt the takeover will be completed before the end of the window IF it does happen. The best we can hope for is to strengthen with loans before strengthening again in January.

Is AT the way forward ? Hes under qualified for a managers role. He may be excellent in which players he brings in though.
