I think Wasps want to distance themselves from Sisu/CCFC while the legals are on.
Maybe to do with bad publicity at this moment in time and sponsorship implications. Even keeping the bond value up by not introducing risk.
After all CCFC have nothing to offer Wasps (at the moment) and Wasps are not reliant on them.
IMHO Wasps will actually gain (eventually) with CCFC demise without actually doing anything at all.
Sisu have messed up big time and the bluff has been called, unfortunately for CCFC and us fans.

It provides no bad publicity and has no sponsorship implications.

The bad publicity should me aimed at wasps for forcing a football club with a proud local tradition out of its home,

Do you know this as a fact? Or just your opinion? See, evidence states CCFC would never own the stadium. Before SISU, during SISU and long after SISU. Please see this for what it is. Ok if you think Wasps are just good businessmen but realise what you're praising them for you're critical of SISU for. Be consistent please.

What evidence points to us never owning the stadium? I have never said wasps are good business men either, their just better than the idiots that own our club. If you have read my posts you will see that the only thing I am against is my club being destroyed by a game of my prick is bigger than yours. Our owners are clueless Muppets that haven't got a pot to piss in that's why were having to be a self sustaining business. If any one else had bought us I believe they would have found a way to buy what the wasps now have with out pissing off every conceivable person that they needed to have on side to do the deal. And before you ask I am not asking the owners to invest millions into the club either, if they had played ball and bought the arena in the first place they wouldn't have had too.

People tried to buy us and what Wasps have now (for more than Wasps paid as well).

But that's not evidence that CCFC would never own the stadium. Its evidence that that the party was unwilling to sell.

The evidence now is 250 years isn't it? Do people think Wasps will sell?

No its evidence that they asked and got a 250 year lease in their deal. The analogy is buying a car or a house Nick, someone pays screen price in Birmingham for a car and then a punter in Coventry asks for a grand off the screen and gets it.

People asked in the past for a longer lease and the ground when they tried to do it with ccfc and got laughed out of town didn't they?

But if your constantly trying to renegotiate after you've agreed heads of terms as its called what can you expect. Do you keep negotiating a price after you've put a deposit on something? You don't because your happy with the deal that's why you put a deposit down in the first place and signed the order.

No, I am talking before SISU. There would have been no SISU. You also have to take a bit about sentiment / tradition into consideration dont you?

I agree with the tradition and sentiment but does that automatically buy you any extra rights?

No, but I think it should be taken into consideration shouldn't it?

How good would it have been to have no sisu and own the ground on a long lease?
