It seem inevitable that Goldie is gonna go to a Championship club in the January Transfer Window. Teams like Leeds ad Burnley are all after his signature. 5 clubs from the Championship and FC Twente in Holland all want him, so we seem the most unlikely option. When he leaves, what are we gonna do then? Which player can step up and replace him? Or will be bring another loanee or permanent replacement?

We will have to wait and see what the manager does. Wild speculation on an internet forum will never give you an accurate answer.

Well if Cody isn't ready yet, he never will be.

Is McGoldrick after money or wants to play. He hardly played for Notts Forest in 2 1/2 years in the championship. It could be the same with other championship sides. With Cov. he wanted and liked by the fans, that must say something to him.

It all depends on how much he loves City

and his family are settled in Nottingham. he's not likely to want to go all the way to Leeds or Burnley, and definitely not FC Twente. This is in our favour :thinking about:

Not even convinced SISU will even offer Forest's asking price for Goldie to make the 'us or them' decision.

Burnleys a bit of a treck but Leeds is only about 10-15 minutes further than Coventry.

It is hardly a massive drive from Nottingham to Leeds, a lot of players commute quite long distances or have a second home. If other clubs in a higher league offer more money than us he will be off.
