That'll be ten points from safety for us, and surely relegation barring a minor miracle.

We simply do not attack teams.

One thing that drives me crazy about AT.

And before anyone says we don't have attacking players we have;

Baker,
McShuff
McDonald
Juke
Platt
Gardner

Doesn't matter.

Sorry, but what the hell has that got to do with anything? Not expecting five goals. not expecting 4 goals, or 3 goals. Just for us to attack teams. Maybe that way we will score more than an average of less than one goal a game.

It doesn't matter though Otis, its about making the right decisions at the right time and also being able to execute those decisions. It's also about putting a bit of fear and doubt into the opposition defenders.

We had quite a few crosses into the box in the last 20 mins but the decisions and quality wasn't/isn't good enough.

I know what you're saying Otis. We need to attack and get bodies in the box. This slow build up stuff isn't working because:

1. Our players aren't good enough to break teams down that way; and

2. Our players have sod all confidence which means they don't want the ball!

Last 20? More like last 10-12. Point is, yet again, if we had thrown more bodies forwards earlier we may have had a chance. When the likes of Rochdale play Southampton in the cup do they not attack because Southampton are the better side with better players? Course they do.

We are too cautious. Point is we are losing anyway. Can't see it matters too much if it is 0-1 or 1-3. We aren't good enough to defend for 90 mins so the only other option to attack and try and keep the ball at the other end of the field.

We have proved we can attack. Unfortunately it is usually in the last 10 mins when we are chasing games.

I agree with you about us not committing enough players forward - it is an issue we have had for a long long time, and were like it under boothroyd and Coleman. However we haven't got the quality to do a Ipswich style comeback, and I don't meant scoring 5.

I do think It's a difficult decision to go gung ho when your only 1-0 down though, as you are still in the game right until the final whistle.

Today wasn't good enough, it was completely lacklustre, and actually we went long too much especially in the second half - Cameron was the worst culprit for that today.

I don't expect a comeback. Thing is, the way we set our stall, it is always about a comeback. Why should it be a comeback? Let's go and attack teams from the off. Whatever we are doing now isn't working. It's really dull to watch now too. At least if we were throwing a few more bodies forwards it would get the fans onside. Fans love to see a team attack. I know fans don't like to see teams lose, but the bottom line is, we are losing anyway. Might as well throw the kitchen sink at the bloomin thing and have a go.

I know we haven't got the best attack in the league, but our defence isn't looking too good either and we keep losing.
