Were a very decent Alliance side not long ago, but couldn't afford the step up in level (wages, ground improvement etc) If Coventry City FC is killed, Coventry Sphinx are the natural successors. The highest placed Coventry based team in the football pyramid if i'm not mistaken?
If half the people claiming they want decent football in Coventry joined in support, they could be a conference side in 4-5 years.
