If a deal was struck to Return to the Ricoh for next Season.... (2 Viewers)

would the 'stay away' (of which I am one) fans flock to Sixfields for the remainder of the season and support the team? and would this mean the end of the NOPM campaign? basically, would the people who say they will never watch CCFC outside of Coventry renege on that ideology if a return was agreed?

Personally, as much as it would hurt, I would make the the effort to go to all 'home games' at Northampton under these terms, and I think this would give a massive boost to the players who are already doing a fantastic job this season, even help get us promotion?

It would certainly pose a question in my mind....but I don't think we would go ... based mainly on the lack of surety around such a promise.... how could you depend on a return to the Ricoh next season, it could be yet another empty SISU promise?

So, let's just say it was a cast iron, guaranteed return for next season, would you go to Northampton?

The answer from me is no on all counts, I would never set foot in Northampton, let alone Sixfields. I wouldn't go back to the Ricoh either until SISU have gone.

Its a hypothetical question and to be honest I cant search deep enough into my mind to consider it with earnest.. against the current backdrop of circumstance.
We are desperate to see the team play.. desperate... but I just dont trust Otium. Sorry I cant answer you anymore favourably than that.

Of course, but conjecture is all we have at the moment, and whats wrong with that?

If we were guaranteed to return to Coventry for next season, I would go to a few games at Sixfields.

Whatever we think of sisu, the players still need our support.

Nothing at all... just cant get past the doubt around SISU. Sorry
Apology accepted! ;) I am only clutching at straws because I can't quite comprehend why, as a grown man, this hurts so much? and why I can't just find a new Saturday 'hobby'....apparently I ruin Sunday lunch now because I have always got something else on my mind (Iphone hidden under table).

In short no. I will only return if they play in Coventry. Logic suggests that this would mean the RICOH. Pay off NTFC for the balance of this season and start to generate sensible income from decent gates in Coventry. SISU have to do something, and soon. I hate to say this, but the longer this fiasco drags on, the easier I am finding it to stay away. (even with the lads doing so well......) I have started to feel that the CCFC I loved has gone and will never return.....God I hope I will feel differently soon.

Tricky one.

Either the ground or hill, as long as I see my team I'm not bothered.

You will, It's like having a hat that you love so very much and one day, Jeremy Kyle picks it up and pops it on his head, and for that moment you would hate that hat, until you realize, it's not the hat thats the twat, It's the person wearing it.

I'll never go to Northampton. The minute we return to the Ricoh I'll be there with me nipper and me Dad.

Interesting response dancers lance. I maybe 'a twat' but emotions and feelings are deeply rooted and none of us can control how we feel. I feel deeply for my home town club. I have supported them through thick and lots of thin -- 50 years or more since my dad took my brothers & I to Highfield Road. But that was because they were part of me, part of my life, part of my DNA. The club is a family. Being a Sky Blues fan is 99% emotion 1% logic. Idiotic and senseless responses I would expect from Fester or Villa fans. My guess is that our great City is full of people who have had that emotion & feeling drained from them. But never so callously as is happening today. Once that emotion and feeling has gone, it will never return. Lets hope that the family is reunited before that happens.

Really? Considering they are doing well with a skeleton support at sixfields it tends to suggest that professional players can play well regardless of fan support. Just shows how poor the teams management were in the past does it not!

Damn you Fisher; damn you Supella, may you both burn in hell for what you have done to me and thousands of my fellow CCFC supporters.

Wasn't he calling sisu the twat?

Yes, Cheshire I don't think that Dancers was calling you a twat, if you replace CCFC for the hat and Fisher for Jeremy Kyle... you will get his drift!

i will never step foot into sixfields at any point this season, but that's a personal choice.

the problem i would have would be if we do start next season back at the ricoh would i return while shitsu are still owners. this is the question i don't know the answer too. i will just have to think about it if and when that happens. i just cant see a happy future for the club with shitsu at the helm, under any circumstances.
