But if they don't then we will move on. Just remember how we thought it was shite when dann and fox left, then Turner and Hussey appeared! When Davenport left it was the end of The world! When Kirkland was sold we were never gonna get another decent keeper! When Andy Morrell and Jamie Scowcroft ......haha! You get the jist folks whatever happens we will move on and in Andy Thorn we trust!! PUSB

Very true, if these players were so irreplaceable they would be playing for top prem clubs, any player that plays for us is by default replaceable. It is up to Andy Thorn to find the replacements, in Thorn we trust.

Hmm none of those players mentioned above are near to the quality of King. A striker of his quality is hard to come by, we need him to stay.

Okay then Keano, hadji,Dublin? Do I need to go on? The point im trying to make is that we will move on. We always do.Nobody is irreplaceable. Not even Marlon!

easy tiger, i get your point! Strikers are hard to come by, the other positions are not as difficult to fill.

Haha....Sorry mate. Yeah I think your right about the position thing, Marlon will be the hardest to replace that's for sure.

I think we had a replacement for Marlon before had Marlon. Next season will be big for Juke and Thorn, you'll see.

Not the same type of striker though. I like Juke, but he is the muscle, the workhorse, the Kevin Davies of our frontline. He will never be a prolific scorer, a provider yes who will chip in with 10-15 goals. King is a 20 goal a season man. You will not find another one of those for free.

yeah the market is tight right now for quality strikers, we'd have to shell out a couple of million i reckon, and lets be honest, that just ain't gonna happen!

I think it'll be a long time before we see a striker of Kings ability again at the Ricoh. We were lucky circumstances were in our favour to get him in. He's done a brilliant job scoring goals and someone is bound to pick him up.

I think we'll be ok mind, teams can play together without a star player to get out of this division. Look at blackpool! We just need a work ethic and a team spirit to start getting the results in for the whole season and end up top half/playoffs. So far all looks rosy with Thorn and im sure he'll fnd the players that are right for us.

And for me the player we never replaced and missed was David Thompson. Thommo was legend!

I suppose the circumstances meant we were very lucky to get Marlon at all. Are we kidding ourselves a bit that a 20 goal a season man would come anywhere near us in normal circumstances? So I suppose we won't replace him like for like, but we will replace and we will move on.
