Have you ever been to an away game before? Just think. You could do your first ever away game at a game that should have been at home

Actually I wouldn't mind a small bet that IF it happens and prices are in line with current charge then it would be a sell out

I'd put a few quid on us losing that game 1-0 to the worst goal ever scored in the last few minutes too, that's the way we operate.

There will be a ridiculous amount of hype surrounding our first game back at the Ricoh, whenever that happens, ticket sales would snowball in the lead up to it. There's no way the crowd would be less than 25K. The match after that would be another matter, however, and dependent on form/league position etc.

You are in the minority by attending unless 1500 'home' fans equates to the norm?

Anyhow you have your rights but it's a bit galling to come on here just to wind people up.

NOPM til the end im afraid.

Ok, maybe would get 25k for the 1st game.. wouldn't take long for the fans to drop down to where we were last season.

I am not sure we would get a massive attendance in my opinion. I think the KCIC crowd would be split, some would go but i think a large proportion would use the 'SISU are in charge still' excuse for not attending. It obviously depends on who we play in respect to overall attendance but i dont think we would get 20K.

If SISU were still in charge, then surely the NOPM'ers wouldn't attend and those who support KCIC would go, as it'd be mission accomplished.

As for those who support both parties, well, they're screwed.

If we returned to the Ricoh then KCIC would be a mission complete. For one thing I think the focus on SISU out would diminish if we returned as the priority of seeing our club play back home would be the main focus. But that first game I think it wouldn't matter who we played, I am sure the attendance would be a big one becuase a lot of people have been starved of seeing their team for a long time.

Exactly my point JD! KCIC would be complete but i dont think this would mean advocates of this would flock back in their droves. Alot of people have washed their hands with CCFC plus you look at last seasons attendances, there is only a small hardcore that would follow even at the Ricoh. There would be an increase but this would quickly tail off to the standard 10-12k we had last season unless we are in the playoff spots.

All I was pointing out, there wouldn't be a sell out as the NOPMers wouldn't be there.

I hope that's easy enough for you to understand.

100% without a doubt. I only boycott because Coventry playing Northampton is wrong (not to mention completely unecessary) and I cannot support that.

Your choice.
My choice is to watch from the Hill or not go at all.
Those who go into Sixfields are not helping get us home but thats up to them.

See you at Walsall, and Bradford and MK but never inside Northampton Town FC.

NOPM was created in revolt over SISU taking the club out of Coventry. Wasn't it?

Irrespective of which, that is how I personally feel about it. Bring us home and within 5 minutes I will have purchased a new shirt, membership, programme subscription and match tickets. I'm sure there are many who feel the same.

Bezzer I am anti SISU, I support the team I want them to win every match. I won't go to Northampton but will follow them away. I do believe the financial implications wil have an effect on SISU.

If they played at the Ricoh, I would go. I would take time off work to go. I think if all fans did that and sold the place out it would be a clear message...Don't exclude the fans.

Could the timing of the latest revelation about Brandon be because we played the team at the top of the table on Tuesday and the crowd was pathetic yet again?

The main thing about NOPM was that it goes until the club returns, but some people have adapted their own view of it so that it now applies until Sisu are gone altogether. It's not that mad a question to ask the people taking part whether they've added that personal caveat.

Believe it or not, a fair amount of "NOPMers" were happy/indifferent to Sisu pre-Sixfields. There was an existing Sisu Out campaign that gave people an easy outlet for their frustration, but I think a large part of that is purely because of the move. Personally, I'm aware that I can't in all likelihood enact a change of ownership, but I can voice my distaste at the decision to move to Northampton by not supporting it financially, just like I don't buy the crap CCFC gnomes.

The main problem that we have at the moment is many on here only see the main points and ignore everything else. The main thing is what ACL/CCC should do because Joy has said she wants the freehold and nothing else will do. This is bringing some of us onto the side of SISU. Which of course was the desired effect wanted by Joy.

Most of us want to go to games. This is with SISU or whoever in charge. She certainly won't listen to us though. If she would we would not
be in Northampton. The only way she will notice our displeasure is if we don't go to Northampton. They are losing a couple of million a year staying there. This will be hurting them although they won't admit it. It will have been worth it to them though if they get the freehold on the cheap. If they were willing to pay an acceptable price to both sides they would have had discussions by now. As we all know CCC have tried again. All that happened was a threat of more litigation. How can I back Joy when they are not trying to bring us back?

How many clubs have 3 times the amount of fans going to away games than the home games? It is normally about 10% to 20% go to away games to the home games. The support is still there. But the vast majority of us have stayed strong. Some won't go if we came home. Just like some couldn't stay away from Northampton. But most of us would be back as soon as we are back in Coventry. IMHO it would all be over if everyone kept away from Northampton. Just check the posts. The ones that are leaning on ACL/CCC to sell to SISU for whatever price Joy wants it for will be back. The vast majority of us that don't trust them in the slightest will be back as soon as our club is back where it belongs. Not going is our only voice against what they have done to us. We need not to lose our voice.

There is only one person that can bring us home. I won't sell my soul for this to happen though. And I hope ACL stays strong. I don't trust SISU with our clubs future. They have already threatened liquidation. It looks as though the Ricoh complex is now making money without our club there. They have said our club and the Ricoh will not be united. My main fear would be them getting their hands on the stadium and then liquidating. They would be the main creditors so would get to keep the stadium. This would make money for their investors. If they don't get their hands on the stadium we will always have somewhere to start again with a new club whatever she does to us. But I am still like the vast majority. I will be back once our club is.

These are my feelings and my what if's. I know there are many others that feel the same.

I listened on the radio and to be honest I didn't miss going. I reckon by xmas I will do that every week and stop away games.
I'm loosing interest. I almost wish they would announce the stadium so I can move on.

My personal point of view is come back to the Ricoh and I will go to most games. Come back to the Ricoh without sisu and I will get a season ticket.

Build a new stadium 6 miles from Coventry and I might go to the odd game. Unfortunately a stadium not in the city will lead me to think of the club in a different way.

The aim of NOPM wasn't clear tbf, some say NOPM until we're back in cov and some say they're NOPM until sisu are gone, I think that was what Stu and Bezzer were alluding to.

There were too factions and much confusion. I remember saying something to Michael about protests outside SISU HQ and I called it a Trust thing and he pulled me up in and said it wasn't a Trust protest in was part of the KCiC campaign. Before that I hadn't realised the two were different and not the same organisation.
