IT is now time for Sisu Capital to end their involvement with Coventry City Football Club.
Given the events of the last few weeks, their reign has now become completely untenable.
Time and time again I have heard that Sisu are bankrolling the club, that CCFC has no debt, and that all the debt lies with Sisu.
And yet, it is Coventry City in administration with debts of £60m, and not Sisu.

It should be the reverse. If the club was being run true to the public messages it puts out then it should be Sisu in administration, not Coventry City.
I have previously defended Sisu in this column, because however bad their decisions were, they were the ones paying the bills, keeping the club afloat so we could continue to watch our team.
It was a lie.

Decent piece considering I remember this guy defending SISU at every turn, also summing up ACL quite well

A good piece, I am pleased the CET are finally getting the facts right and not toeing the Sisu line.

This is a fans point of view. It's not an employee of the telegraph nor a journalist. The only person applauded for this article should be Ian Palmer.

Yeah, I wouldn't see this as the Telegraph's stance, they've just given this one person the platform.

Ian Palmer is a "Hobby Reporter"
Ask yourselves this set of questions...
1) Does Ian make football related reports?
2) Does Ian have his reports published on a regular basis in the CET?
3) do you ever read his reports.
4) what the fook is it he's doing reporting in the CET if he's not classed as a reporter?

He's not reporting, he's got a column. By nature these can vary from the general stance of the publication that features them.

If you look at his other stuff, it's generally syphoned into 'fans zone' or (ugh) 'banter', which allows the Telegraph to regard it as an independent voice they're giving a platform to, if they were ever pushed on such matters.

The point I'm making is , he makes reports which are used in the CET. Isn't that what a lot of reporters(Wether paid, or not, do?) because he is a hobby reporter does not mean what he says or writes have any less meaning or truth than a reporter who is "On the payroll" does it!
"To set the books straight" I never said he was a CET reporter. I said, and I quote..."At last a reporter with balls!"

Isn't Linnel a reporter...who gives his view on how brilliant SISU are?

He's a fan not a journalist/reporter but the point about him having balls is a good one! He has summed up the situation perfectly and even the most ardent SISU sympathiser...probably Stuart Linnell come to think of it....must be swayed towards agreeing with his passionate and very strong arguments. One more passed over from the 'dark side', only a few more to go by my reckoning.

They are preparing to circle the waggons and make a last stand over on GMK. The funny thing is their remaining posters admit to not reading the documents, articles etc.
"kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with facts."
Still all the fault of the evil CCC.

It's just a guy with an opinion. It's not "BREAKING NEWS". Its an entertainment feature. It's as valid as a post on here or a published tweet. The only difference is, it's in more detail.

I had a music review column in the Citizen once upon a time, that by no means qualifies me as a reporter or says I am in any way an expert in music. Just a guy who can write and has an interest in and opinion on music.

I've been saying as much for three years, it seems that I'm not alone anymore... ;-)
I only know of 2 or 3 who are pro sisu....and they're just strange anyway.
I do think the CeT have been been utterly abject all along; no balls, no intelligence, no scrutiny.
For the life of me I cannot think why? Whose interests have been served by their cowardice......certainly not the club's, the fans' or the city's. Terrible paper.

Each to their own mate, but CCC didn't do this, SISU had nearly 6 years of bad management. Any blocks that were put in the way, was done without help from anybody but themselves!

It's a shame the comments are closed on the CT now, we could ask him what changed his mind.

Contrary is the word that comes to mind. Keep changing your mind for arguments sake or deliberately put yourself in the minority view just for the debate.

Sounds familiar.
