If he was suggested and people said no it would surely have been because we couldn't afford him/match his ambition/he was out of our league! Nothing to do with not wanting him!

Happy that I can be quoted saying this ... 'I have always rated Holloway. He's done alright pretty much everywhere he's been.'


A number of people defending him on that thread to be honest.

He's never really been available tbf! And very much so out of our league. Knows what it takes to get teams performing though, even if he is a bit eccentric at times

No luck with slating Holloway. I went back to 2010 posts and the only negative was a comment about his tactics when his team got stuffed.

So it looks like we haven't really had a critical eye on him. Particularly with regards to him being our future manager.
