Is being offered a new contract by chesterfield, do you think he would come to us?

Could be a great signing

I'd rather Nathan Clarke who is the same type of player and a few years younger

Big lump that has been an ideal L1 centre half but he looked a bit past it this season. Says a lot that he got their POTS. Surprised we haven't gone if for him in the past.

I know the lad very well and I have said on here a few times in the past get him in ! Good solid leader and a no nonsense centre half. Coventry born and bred.

I'd be surprised if Clarke stays. Main criticism of him is he always wants to play the way Bradford taught him; long. Doesn't fit the Robins way imo and think he's too far in his career to be trained out of playing that way

He's not perfect but I'd say he's all the credentials for league two. A leader, vocal, experienced, wins everything in the air.....
He does have the long ball element about his game but we will need that over the winter. Play a more ball playing quicker partner alongside him and it's a perfect partnership for league two.
* edit likely to be at Grimsby now...
