I posted earlier trying to make a joke in relation to fans being referred to as sheep with my name Sheepy - sadly some of you thought I was serious
It made me realise after 55 years following city our club has gone from being fun to support to being a joke
Why is that - because due to the likes of richardson & co we lived beyond our means.
Due to parkinsons and a heart condition I can't get down from north yorkshire but I still support them/ I spent 30 years as a financial advisor so I know about hedge funds and the risk taking.
The fault for our trouble is not just SISU it is greed
richardsons greed for success and SISU's greed for a quick return AND PROFIT the old joke is how do you become a millionaire out of football ....start off as a multi millionaire
It is time for SISU to take the final risk!
the only way they will get the re money back is to buy the ground and develop. The only way they will get the ground is to commit to supporting the club then higgs and the council must listen but first they must commit but that means more money
OR
do what a hedge fund must do share the risk - let hoff if he has backers or someone else run the club without any ties and agree a recoup IF we get successful ie
if the buyer buys the ground they get 25% of there investment
if they develop the ground another 25%
if we get to championship another x%
if we get to to premiership the rest and a bonus
this will bring the smile and fun back to our club letting us enjoy and if we enjoy back will come the crowds - crowds = money money buys success without without risking further investment. the debt would remain on the books but with no demands being made- even a condition of a director on the board
you have made us a leaner club that can't be far off paying its own way - to do that we must have enjoyment to bring in more fans
in my opinion this is the only way SISU can get all there money back TAKE THE RISK
&LET US ENJOY OUR FOOTBALL CLUB AGAIN
