They made less than £200,000 on fox and Dann you clown.

Last season the wage bill was 6 times that than one of the promoted teams.

Their problem is they haven't made enough money from the sale of players - on most they've overpaid and lost money.

And who is at fault for selling players too cheaply, not offering contracts in time for our better players like Gunnar and Westwood and paying too much in wages to players that were not good enough.

Then you have the balls to call someone else a clown

Is that why you were celebrating for not selling any of our players to other clubs in the same division as ourselves in the last transfer window?

Your absolutely correct they were "undisclosed", but then again you are arguing with Grendel who makes up things to suit his own stance. Good luck on that front!

@ cochese..... at THIS level they are. none of those 3 are Championship quality imho. If they were, they would be there now....Leon Clarke nearly 29, has had 14 different clubs up to now....Franck Moussa 24, 6 different teams, none higher than Championship level (Leicester 8 apps) Fleck 22, Rangers (41 apps in 5 years) That's right, 41 apps in 5 years! Blackpool (7 apps on loan) and he still can't last more that 55-60 mins of a game......So if that's "Decent" to you, then carry on mate, coz it isn't decent to me.

As you have kindly pointed out, we are. League 1 team. So we don't need championship quality players, we need players who top league 1 players. In the majority of games I've seen those three player play in, they've looked a class above our opponents. For league one, yes, they are decent.

None of our players were sold in the last transfer window because no offers were made. Simple.

Sheff Utd offered £500,000 for both of our strikers. Both worth at least that. I was as surprised as SISU and the majority of us all that they never came in with a better offer.

Clarke has six this season already including the winner yesterday. 15 last season. Decent enough for me.

Certainly is good enough for us. Came to us with baggage. Looks like he has learned his lesson at last. Maybe ending up in division 3 at a troubled club has made him realise he had to change. We are lucky to have him.

So you won't moan when they sell our best players to meet Financial Fair Play. We will have the lowest budget in the football league and should expect to be relegated in consecutive years after this season.

They sold our best players before Financial Fair Play and we got relegated, you must have been studing our history to forcast the future.

Pretty sure SISU are not failing. This is one investment of many. And I'm not sure it is taxpayers. None of your tax money goes to the club or SISU. Don't really understand that argument.

How do you think SISU are not failing when they take over a firm with 15,000 paying public and end up with 1,600 customers.

And here come out the normal lines to take the thread away from SISU not doing a good job with us and not being trustworthy, and the facts are available if you would like to disagree.

If you were both able to read and then understand what you have read you will see the majority are not pro ACL but want what is best for our club. And to just hand them the Ricoh would be so wrong. But just carry on chatting shite. It seems all you are capable of.

To be clear, I think SISU are doing a terrible job. But remove them from the equation and the best thing is for the club and the stadium to be united.

I agree that there need to be safeguards.

They are failing at running a football club but this was in response to someone saying they were a failing hedge fund. Please read carefully before replying.

They are a hedge fund that have made a loss the last two years that they have released audited figures. This is a failing hedge fund.

Whatever the cheapest agreeable price is. I'd rather have the Ricoh than the 12,000 seater tin shed our glorious leaders have proposed as an alternative.

Nope. That is a hedge fund making a loss, not particularly unusual in the current climate. I'm not saying they are great just that they are not necessarily a failing business. Not yet at least.

But that is exactly the point. There can be no safeguards in a sale of a Freehold estate.

everyone would like to see the club own the ground, but 1st you need to define the club. sisu is not the club, otium now is. so should the sale go ahead it needs to be to otium. the council also need to place some sort of clause on the ownership of the ricoh that the club (i.e. the golden share, players and coaching staffs contracts) always rest with the same company that own the freehold. so if shitsu did move the ownership of the ricoh the club would have to go with it.

can you ever see shitsu agreeing to that, i would be shocked if they did.

I would expect it to be an asset of Coventry City Holdings Ltd. personally. I don't think they have ever suggested buying it under any guise other than the football club.

It's either buy the Ricoh or end up in a 12,000 seater stadium NEAR Coventry. I assume you prefer option 2?

i agree with you totally. my answer was a hypothetical one of best case scenario should we end up in the worst case scenario, i.e. the ACL/CCC/Higgs throw the towel in.

Its all part of the OTIUM master plan.... they hold our football club as the kidnap victim in Northampton- with the keys to the Ricoh as the ransom demand for its return.
The 12000 stadium is yet to be realised with any concrete plans.. only empty words on a page.
I dont see it as the polarised picture you paint.

The Ricoh of course- Just not with them in charge.

that's my problem mark. i have never seen one shred of evidence 1 way or the other and anyone who has ever said on here that it will be the club who will own the freehold has never been able to come up with that evidence either. whether that be a statement, memo. meeting minutes or anything from shitsu.

How do you know they are not a failing hedge fund, you must have access to their bank accounts. Some (well a lot of people) people failed to see Leemans had run out of cash as well as northern rock bank and we know what happened then. By the way if you do have access to their bank accounts will you let us see them so we can work out when they will run out of cash.
