My favourite was when he said he could outpace anyone over 1 yard.

Just found this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZB6v3oa_FUo

Don't remember him scoring so may headers!
Nearly every other goal was his first touch

I'm yet to find any evidence that the fabled scouse sense of humour actually exists!

Indeed, for me it's borderline provocation most of the time. I recall lamping a Scouser in a club years ago, 'cos he thought it was a good crack to try and intimidate me physically whilst laughing and smiling. He said it was just banter, so I KO'd him. As I went off, I said, "Aye, top banter mate, how's that for a fff-ing punchline".

If you want real banter you have to go to Dublin, L'pool humour is just watered down....

Anyone who 'ates 'Big' Ron is all right in my book! I hated the fat twat ever since he had a go at me for doing my job. He didn't like the fact that I stood up to him and Maurice Setters at Ryton once. (It's a long story!)

Spill the beans Houch, you can't leave us hanging with that one. Was it you he aimed his headphones at?

But again, top banter Mr Wilde, I'm almost bereft of ribs 'm8', are you Scouse at all?

Quinny drinks in my local and i think he's a top man. Always a good laugh and he was great with my boys when i took them down to meet him, did them sone signed posters and told them about his time here. Its Big Ron he hates, said he sent him outta cov with just his footie boots. On a side note he also told me about the time he was stopped from putting craig bellamy through a wall up at Newcastle coz he was being a twat.

Oh of course, I'm literally unable to stop chortling at his rapier wit and astonishing grammar. I'm guessing he is at least part Scouser, 'cos he's quite smackable. How's about you, any Scouse heritage?

Aww, and you were doing so well too, you even posted a few semi-literate posts regarding football, which I actually agreed with. Then the cretin tries to get a reaction, and the usual shite follows.

See, the troll wants anger as a response. None was evoked, so it was a bit of a wet fart-fail. Then comes the 'loony' gifs which, I'm sorry, only attention-seeking, inadequate children utilise.

Someone who uses no expletives, caps or exclamation marks can't really be accused of anger. Can they? Nope. So shhhh...there's a match on.

And Speedie...a 3mins conversation & he was offering to buy drinks & was all smiles & good humour. It was quite a surprise as always struck me as a nasty piece of work on the pitch

I saw David Speedie a few times as he was waiting for trains at Nuneaton railway station in 1991 or 1992 (so he would have been playing for Liverpool or Blackburn). I have to say, he didn't look the happiest of people at the time (probably regretted leaving the mighty Sky Blues).

My opinion of Quinny had dropped over the last few months, he was slating city fans on drive time after the loan business. He doesn't really care about any club just Liverpool and Newcastle. He admits himself he loves to be loved as most strikers do, I guess there is nothing wrong with that
