I assume companies that own clubs would fall under this?
I don't imagine it would make much difference, the threshold according to the article is anyone owning 25% of shares. I may be wrong, but no one individual owns over 10% in SISU/Otium?
Regardless, sounds like a great idea but easily circumvented I imagine.

All I know is that if no fans went to sixfields the fl would have to take action. We would be back at the Ricoh !!!
In my opinion the only reason Sisu got the golden share back through Otium is because they hoodwinked the fl about fans support !!!!
Not going to sixfields would show to the football league and world that Sisu don't have the fans support !!!
Anyone who goes to sixfields and says they don't support Sisu's actions are liars !!!

Totally agree, the scabs that go to shitfields are prolonging our plight. We should name and shame them, find out where they live and paint a sky blue cross on their front door like the plague !

What makes you so sure that the football league would have to act if no fans turned up at sixfields. They have already broken there own rules that a club has to play inside a 30 mile zone

Sky Blue John, agree with most of what you say. Apart from the last line. Don't think all of them support SISU, but by going they condone what they are doing.
I think most boycotters would have a tiny bit more sympathy for them if they protested inside Sixfields. But they don't apart from a couple of people. They just go like lambs to the slaughter. Obviously there are some who go who do believe Sisu. No idea what they've got for brains.
As you say, if everyone stayed away we'd be back in a flash. The Sixfielders are part of the problem.
There was something Torchomatic said a couple of years ago on this thread about if more fans turned up (at the Ricoh) over the years (and even HR) then we wouldn't have this problem. That's something I've long said too. He's right regards that.
Bottom line - no City fans at Sixfields - we'll be back at the Ricoh.

I think most fans support coventy city and not SISU. I never heard a SISU army chant home or away, on the hill or at the Ricoh or at sixfields mind you the only thing I've heard at sixfields is a pin drop

I should imagine stipulations are in place from the fl that Sisu have to adhere to. How can the fl support Sisu when they have taken the club away from Cov and lost the backing of the fans.

The football league sanction the move to sixfields so they do back SISU. The football league were worriedly about the club no fulfilling the fixture list and giving them a problem so they broke there own rules rather than having some balls and telling SISU to F off and do a deal with ACL or fold the club

I can't find anything in the FL's rules & regulation to suggest that they can force sisu to move the club back unless sisu violates the ground share contract.
This is the reason why sisu go the full length to show progress on building a new stadium - even though it's plain for everyone that plan A is to move back to the Ricoh as owners of the long lease.

Yes the fl have allowed Sisu to move the club. But do we know all the stipulations about a return to Coventry ?
Obviously the fl would have no choice but to put pressure on Sisu !!!

When all is said and done, wether it be at the Ricoh, or Sixfields, and wether it be 1k(Sixfields) or (32.5k)Ricoh. Your hard earned cash WON'T be reinvested into buying decent players, simple as that!

In your opinion would it or would it not add pressure to Sisu ?
What would the fl be likely to do if they are not happy with the progress ?
Hypothetically If CCFC have no home fans wouldn't Sisu lose the support of the fl in any decisions they would have to make ?

No - an empty sixfields won't add more pressure on sisu.
They have set their strategy on the outcome of the JR. If that goes against sisu I think they will leave. If it goes against CCC and ACL need to refinance the £14.4m loan then they will stay and try to negotiate ownership of the shares of ACL.

There may be a clue in the latest set of accounts where all loans to sisu funds were shown to expire in December. To me that is an indication that sisu have set a deadline.

Luckily with someone who has such limited intelligence, the 'scabs' as you so eloquently call them will be perfectly safe.

Happy Easter Craig.

Why don't you, sky blue John and Spoinkop go to Sixfields on Saturday and explain these views to the fans who go into the ground?

That's a pretty bald statement.. There is nothing to suggest that the Football League would have taken this action, hence why they have insisted that the owners must provide the funding adequate to keep the Club afloat.

Ofcourse it won't, we made £7m losses last season. Our hard earned cash goes into operating costs.

That's my point mate they are celebrating getting people to identify themselves at 25%

The FL say 10% so that will never change now this announcement has been made.

I know, private education just isn't what it used to be, but I get by. Once a scab always a scab, someone you could never trust again, lower than a rattle snakes shit.
