What chance have we got.

He tells the players to look after themselve's and then comes back looking like that.

only thing i would say is that i saw the picture and thought he didnt look well and comfortable at that weight and that raised a concern about his ability to deal with the inevitable stress levels that are to come ....... he had a period in hospital last season and i wouldnt wish him ill again

Who is your friend?

I don't care if he is 10000 stone if he can get us promoted. If he can't then he is a rubbish manager and his weight really doesn't come into it!

Whilst I would be very worried if AT had pencilled himself in as our back up left back really my only concern is about his personal health - he had some health issues last year and the stresses with he will be under are great and I hope his lack of condition doesn't come back to bite him. I feel like I am quoting what my own GP keeps saying to me word for word!!

Would you be inspired by Sillett, Big Ron, Del Bosque, Rafa Benitez yada yada.... All done something in football management, all fat. So what does weight have to do with football management? It's a stupid argument. If Thorn doesn't get promotion he'll be judged then.

Bloody hell, did you actually read what I put?

Also, they weren't mentioned in the same sentence, they were completely different sentences...

A recognition that weight has no effect on managerial ability does not make someone a Thorn lover! This really annoys me!

By all means knock Thorn, but don't use these stupid arguments and then put people down as Thorn lovers when they disagree!

Credit where credit is due.... that is an impressive gut Thorn has.

A girl at work said he had to be pregnant. To have a gut like that means he is expecting soon.
