I said Friday, the pro-thorn hypocrites have so much to answer for.

Had they not bleated on so much about how great AT was, SISU would no question have sacked him before end of season - certainly at end of it.

Sisu tried to get the fansd onside, so they made sure he was given the chance these idiots demanded.

As a result he has managed to acquire unquestionably the worst team since Jimmy Hill took over!

He brought to the club 9 players that struggle to compete at League 1 level!

To add insult to injury the bring in a caretaker manager who had an equal or worse record then him!

This was a decision that was DOOMED to failure.

Had they sacked him when it was obvious he was no good, we might have had a chance last season.

Unfortunately they listened to the cretins who said thorn wasn't given a chance.

Now whoever takes over will not be able to improve the squad till Jabuary. Currently Cov are 9 points of the top after 5 games!

I just hope Cov are not beyond help as they were last season.

I hope the pro-thorn people are happy for what they have done.

I hope you are happy!

Thorn's choice have now lost the lead 4 games out of 5!

Sisu tried to get the fansd onside, so they made sure he was given the chance these idiots demanded. I seriously doubt that the fans view had anything to do with it. Maybe they took the objective business decision that, after KD gave nothing and took everything, he should have been given the opportunity to add depth which was one of the reasons he gave for relegation. Also one of the reasons most of us had.

As a result he has managed to acquire unquestionably the worst team since Jimmy Hill took over! You cannot compare squads that far apart.

He brought to the club 9 players that struggle to compete at League 1 level! So far, we haven't seen much from any of them. On the whole though, we've brought in a bunch of players, each with the potential to shine. They have all come with careers which started promising but through injury or other circumstances have not been able to shine. To do that, they need a productive, positive and consistant environment. So far, they have not had that at CCFC, which, is partly due to Thorns sacking amongst other elements including the boo boys and low Ricoh attendances.

To add insult to injury the bring in a caretaker manager who had an equal or worse record then him! He has no managerial record. His post-playing record includes coaching a team to promotion from this league.

This was a decision that was DOOMED to failure.

Had they sacked him when it was obvious he was no good, we might have had a chance last season. I agree, it would have been better to replace him sooner rather than later, however it was more than just the manager last season. No leadership on the pitch, no strength in depth to name but two of the many reasons that last season ended in relegation

Unfortunately they listened to the cretins who said thorn wasn't given a chance. Again, I doubt they listened to a block of fans chanting. Had they wanted to listen to the fans, they would have taken

I just hope Cov are not beyond help as they were last season. We certainly are not beyond help in September

I hope the pro-thorn people are happy for what they have done. I don't think many were particularly "pro-Thorn" during the latter parts of last season. Most, again, were objective and commented on his positives as well as his negatives. Unfortunately to some who love a good witch-hunt, to acknowlege any positive is to proclaim him as Christ risen from the dead and the best thing to happen to football since the three point rule.

I hope you are happy! No, I'm not. but I will not give up all hope before we've even chosen a new manager.

Thorn's choice have now lost the lead 4 games out of 5!

I hope you read this, process it and form an opinion and do not just dismiss it as pro-Thorn, pro-SISU, anti-you post.

Not wanting to have another Thorn debate, but at the moment it looks like he has brought in 9 players with no fight in their bellies, who lack, spirit, determination and a will to win.

You can't just throw 11 good players together and expect a good team. You probably need a lot less Adam Barton types and more Richard Keogh types (not talking about quality), players who will battle and fight for every ball, never give in and play for the 90 mins and come off the pitch giving it their all.

Can't see that I have noticed any of that with the new guys coming in. Only Elliot seems to really work his socks off.

Still early days, but I remain very much unconvinced that AT brought in players with a winning mentality.

You'd have thought that Kilbane would have brought that to the table. Barton came with a warning from Preston fans about his commitment. I agree, we havent had a set of players with real grit for so long. One or two maybe, but I don't think we've had managers who have that either.

I hate to say I told you so, but I said at the time we brought in the wrong type of players. I just hope Dennis Wise can sort this shower of shit out.

Yep, maybe you were right.

I didn't say anything cos I knew very little about any of the players.

Heard the warnings about Barton though. Seems to me that he is exactly the sort of player we don't want at this club.

If you watched Luke Freeman today for them he never stopped running and wanting the ball for the entire 90 mins.

Completely agree Otis, and this was a heart the "Forget Promotion" thread.

This kind of in fighting is a reason for why we are where we are

Nothing at all to do with the manager and team then. Some people are so bloody blind, i cant believe this comment, "Its the fans fault".We have one top seven finish and a cup win in the 43 years i've supported this club, the other 41 years have been nothing but a battle against relegation, and someone believes "its the fans fault".

I'm suprised we get more than 5,000 crowds on this record

"is A reason", not THE reason, just one of many reasons
