No.

There's no guarantee the club would've existed. Look at Hereford, look at Darlington.

How am I ignoring they were CCC prefer bidder. I said They bought into CCFC. It's doesn't matter a Frogs fat arse who is Preferred or not... SISU own CCFC. Did they do "Due Dilligence"? No?... Their own fault we are where we are then. Nobody else to blame.

Interesting tweet/retweet from Jim Brown yesterday...

Their wage bill is circa x3 what our entire turnover would be in the championship...

Would you rather I call you twat instead? Wasn't actually implying you were a mate it's just a polite term, but who gives a fuck right?
Your another Sisu man then? What your failing to see is that the problems we face today are the stadium deal and the academy, no more no less, we face losing them both and you think that is down to Richardson? He must work for Sisu then because they are the fuckers who landed us in this position, was it Richardson who stopped paying the rent? Was it Richardson who took us to Northampton? Was it Richardson who declared he batters people in court before launching court action? Was it Richardson who alienated the club from the council and other local institutions? If the answer to all of the above is yes then your right, it's all richardsons fault......

Did you not read my post? The reason the stadium deal is where it is now is down to Richardson and co desperately moving away from Highfield Road and not having the business nous to negotiate a better deal.

I am not condoing SISU in any way, shape or form in witholding the rent or moving to Northampton as that was a big factor to alienating the fans. However the Council should've done more to help the club get back to playing in Coventry. So what do they do, they bring a club 90 miles away after of course suing Northampton for allowing Coventry to play at Sixfields for a season. Oh and allowing the franchise team to build on the AHC land for their 'barn' or whatever they are wanting to build despite identifying 17 sites.

What are your thoughts on the Council and Wasps out of interest, the apples in your eye?

You would be willing to take the risk? I'm glad you weren't our chairman.

We would've also been in League 1 the following season but I'm sure you already considered that in your reply.

Sisu bought a business that needed a long term strategy with stability being the key to growth. If success off the field in terms of stability would of been gained it would of surely allowed them to build on the club status, which in turn would of created relationships with the key holders for an eventual purchase of all or a % the stadium. Instead Sisu wanted a short term investment for maximum return with very little in the way of a plan, as they didnt need one. Hence the reason of turning down the CCC offer of a renegotiation of the rent deal when talks about buying the club were held.

Why would SISU want talks about a lease for the next 10 years, they wanted out in 10 months!! so we can look to the people who created the mess in the first place for sure, but they cannot be held accountable for the decision made over the last 8 years that has left is in our current state. The club under this ownership has declined with every passing season, this is down to bad decision making regards to every aspect of running the club.

The club need's a long term plan an owner who can be open and honest about the why's and what's of the club. Also spending time on the positive aspects, instead of not being able to tell us because its an ongoing case. Its a stupid way to run a business if you disconnect with your customers with bad experiences with tickets, false statements that promise news on land, stadiums, or meetings then fans will turn away when deadlines pass. TF has been the worst for this, he has no credibility with anyone he deals with apart from JS. Its time for change, its time for new ideas, new plans or at least a plan that doesn't involve a lawyer!!!.

it's a poor analogy, the club wasn't in showroom condition when sisu bought it!
I agree that sisu seriously fucked up when buying the club and only have themselves to blame but that doesn't detract from the fact that are previous owners were just a fuckin' useless.

You're wrong. Richardson and cronies sold our home and agreed with the council the ridiculous setup at the Ricoh that SISU inherited.

Richardson & co are ultimately to blame for the clubs position. They built up the massive debts, they sold the clubs stadium without a brick of the arena being laid. They then refused to write off debts from board members until it was only SISU left to takeover.

Well Leicester were in a worse situation now they are breaking their transfer records every week.
So it can be done just have to have the commitment and business plan to execute it.
Funny how do called City fans accept the position we are in, don't know of any other fans that would be happy with underachieving for over 10 yesrs

you seriously thing our last owners were decent?

You can argue they were better than the current owners, (I'd probably agree), but we'd be into debating levels of shitness.

As for my avatar, remind me what happened to HR and do you think we would have been better staying there?

How were they in a worse situation?

They had their own stadium which was a third of the cost of the Ricoh, a debt of £30 million (we had £60 million) and without the penalties of a 10 point deduction (they would've only reached the play-offs that year which is a lottery) they ensured they were promoted to the Premier League automatically.

Are you one of those that doesn't read others posts? I ve never said they were decent.
I think if you want to get on in the Football Business, you have to speculate to accumulate, or stagnate. Previous owners speculated(Robbins family being the most prolific and successful.) SISU are like the Oystons at Blackpool, they want success without no outlay(Literally) The myth that some of the posters on here that think we all want them to invest £20-30m is absolutely miles from what a lot of us want them to do. £2m-£2.5m would be a great start and at least show some sort of intent.

you compared the state of the club when sisu bought it to an off the forecourt Rolls Royce, in reality it was in poor shape. sisu have managed to make it much, much worse, and it looks as though things are going to get worse still.

Don't hold your breathe waiting for that 2m investment.

Didn't the last owners forgo their loses when Sisu took over ?
Robinson lost £25M after writing off a loan I believe. There were others including normal fans giving up their shares for nothing.
Sisu should do the same, put it up for sale and see who takes us up.
Come on Sisu "Let's be 'aving you"

There's nothing to give away.
They could only be asking for more money than the clubs worth to cover their own losses.
Why pay tens of millions for something worth tens of thousands ?
