But surely Swindon went into admin? So why haven't they been deducted points? Then we would have been in better place for play offs.

Nope. The owner simply sold the club to a new owner. This not in any way the same as administration.

Well I don't think the punishment is death by stoning.

Think it's just an embargo.

Essentially you can overspend and build a team to win the league by a mile and then suffer the earth shattering punishment of not being allowed to make it even better.
