I think you mean you don't like the way things have turned out, rather than that you don't care?
I am pretty sure that everyone who is a member of this band of brothers would agree with your sentiments (except RFC perhaps) if that was the case.

I always say no more then turn up 2 weeks later. I might turn up to a few next year as it is probably the last time I will get to see Coventry City playing in Coventry.

A mate no longer can stand it so he gives me his season ticket, can not think of the name of the stand it is in the middle opposite the dug outs, I am surrounded by super fans who tut and moan at any slight SISU out chant or protest. One bloke and his wife said to me when I stood and applauded one chant to take my negativity to another football club, they have never worried about owners before and are not going to now, the team needs support now more than ever especially next season to mount a promotion challenge. After a 5 minute exchange of views I actually felt sorry for them and anyone else who thinks under the current owners business model we will ever be able to mount a promotion challenge let alone even being a football club in 2 years time.

i think older generation do distance themselves from it a lil more. perhaps because they have experienced more good owners than bad overall. maybe because its not gonna impact their future as much as it does younger fans.

i sat next to a very nice old man at wycombe game. he didnt like owners but wanted to focus more on the football. we agreed alot so he was very smart.

Good lad. I'm looking forward to league 2 for the sole reason that I can get past 60 of the 92. Any idea who is coming up from the conference?

I'm looking forward to L2 too......hoping both plymouth & exeter fuck it up & remain down there as i have family in the south west......

....also hoping that bury & oldham drop with us to keep the north west quota high enough...... add in Blackpool, morecambe & hopefully tranmere coming up, should be a good few away days......

Can you imagine the fantastic (NOT) atmosphere at The Ricoh for a Division 2 game.

The mind boggles.

...to be fair......apart from just a handful of games since 2005......the ricoh has always had a fucking shite atmosphere.....even in the early days when we had 18,000+ in it......shite.....I've always hated the fucking place.......haven't been to a home game all season or last......nothing to do with NOPM.....purely to do with it being shit & having to spend hours on the M6 to endure said shit.

I think what I meant was that I don't care about this cup, in no way does it compensate for yet another relegation and at my age I may never see Championship football again, let alone dream of Premiership

Agree with all that, I fancy visiting Exeter next year and like you our L2 spell has been great for the north west games

Mate I feel your pain. I have followed and supported City since the mid sixties and lucky enough to see them at wembley twice in 87. My son was one at the time and when he was an early age, I took him to Cov games and brought him up to love the City. He has never known a City successful season, and yes there will more than likely be another relegation this year to contend with. But I firmly believe that every dog has its day and when its Citys turn, they will quickly rise back through the leagues. Success at any level is to be celebrated so lets all enjoy wembley, and use it to show the country ...and potential buyers... that we are still alive and kicking, a bit battered maybe but STILL HERE!!!... and wont lie down and die.

We're acting like we're on the Titanic but ignoring the huge iceberg ahead, don't worry everything will be fine.
And like the mayor in Jaws who tells everyone not to be silly,go in the water there's nothing there to worry about. In other words we know our club is fucked but we pretend otherwise. I'm the worst culprit as I'll keep on going till the end !

When we got to Wembley I was so excited, but now after the last two games I'm convinced we're down and this cup run is no compensation for that, so I'm out. Given my season ticket to my mate so all his family can go.

Will this nightmare under Sisu ever end?
I will still be there next season and so on into the Conference, still with my season ticket, one day the end must come.

The same as you will be at Wembley then?

More shouty shouty uninformed bollocks that turns out to be hypocritical. Standard.

He will be buying a season ticket to go and watch the team he supports play football. Nothing more, nothing less.

Like I said in another post .I am not paying one penny to anyone for my ticket for Wembley.. I`m no hypocrite , I go away games only so I dont give Sisu a penny..
He can buy a season ticket like many other city fans, but all there doing is prolonging their stay at this once proud club..

Do you have any proof or evidence behind any of it that he is keeping them there?

Also, how much of his season ticket money goes to SISU?

And so it goes around and around again...,,,,,
I don't care if you are NOPM, shout it from the rooftops how you are saving the club.
But why should generations of fans turn their backs on the team? hate the owners by all means but don't berate the fans for loving their club.

I thought none of the final money went to Sisu anyway? Doesn't it all go into the prize pot?

If you are paying or not is irrelevant. The ticket is paid by someone and 40% is, according to you, going to sisu.

So ultimately it makes you no different to someone who doesn't believe in child labour but would gladly accept a product produced by child labour if it was offered as a freebie.

So yes you are a stinking hypocrite of the worst kind.

The principals are abandoned and just because we are at Wembley you start to worship at the sisu temple.

Well well well.

I don't. A couple of struggling seasons, maybe another Mickey Mouse Cup run and then Conference football. Unless Sisu go. All these fans looking forward to div2 are just plainly mental.

I don't think anyone is saying that we want to be relegated and play in League 2. Supporters are looking for silver linings in a mass of clouds, which to my mind is a damned sight better than saying 'we're not going anymore', or 'we're losing interest' etc etc. At least we'll be there cheering City on - through thin and thin!
