My point about Cole is as stated by the more learned observer on the forum.
We have had to change styles, had to change the team around when he couldn't play two games in a row and also his arrival co-incided with indifferent form. It's also hard to claim he has had many games where he has shone and created a massive impact.
When he arrived I believed it would be a similar effect to when Wise arrived (a player no one wanted - including me) - instant impact and a massive influence on results.
There was a lot of euphoria and as of yet that hasn't been paid back.
That's not anti-Cole, or Cole is shit or the usual made up bollocks accusations but an observation based on results, performance and strategy before and after.

He was 33 when he signed - Wise was far older and had far more impact. Perhaps you didn't make it to your usual 6 games a year at the latter end of that season to witness it.

At the start of the season you would have counted a top half finish as a success. Now you say that anything out of the top 6 would be a failure. And you have also said that anything but promotion would be a failure. Another shite opinion.
