And can download programmes box sets and films onto my iPad
Now can I watch these whilst flying abroad and also can I watch sky go when I'm away using wifi

If it's any help I've been able to watch iPlayer downloads abroad and normal iPlayer when on 3/4G. Blocks you watching non downloads on Wifi though.

You wanna get Sky Q then, if you record something you can watch it on the road and also in a different room

Does look pretty slick and if you subscribe to sports and movies its only a couple of quid more.

Like that you can download this you've got recorded on your sky box to your tablet.

yeah you can, i took a few tv shows and films on holiday. come in handy on airplane for sure and if you have a lazy night on holiday without excursion etc you can hook ya phone or tablet up to telly in hotel room and watch on there too
