My phone has been out of action for over a week now. Oh the Joy of a phone not ringing. But the wife got a few messages yesterday about my lad and myself having a mug shot in the Telegraph from the Chievo game. A poor picture of me if I may say so, but if you ever want to say hi at any games at least you will know who to look for

I've had many hundreds since! Smoothound, 12 bream and a nice plaice last week off Ryde (where we went), not including loads of bass off Yarmouth. No mackerel showing this year. Very strange.

Agreed, felt really sorry for him a few years ago. He came into my school to do a "mystery career" section with the kids where they had to ask him questions about his job and guess what he did.

It went on for ages and ages until eventually he told them "I'm Andy Turner!!" to which they replied in unison "Who?". Poor bloke, says more about the lack of City fans than anything else.

How do you know which one I meant

Glad to hear the fishing is still going well. Maybe the Mackerel have worked out that carrier bags don't taste nice

If you look closely you will see me right at the back just under the R of Primark.

Well I would do, that pic is from last year's march, not this.

I've aged at least one year in those 12 months.

Besides, I didn't go to last year's march anyway as I was away.

Last seasons, although it don't make much difference. The good thing about the away kit is that my lads favourite colour is yellow. My next problem is talking him into a white one and the wife not moaning about it.

Was a very warm morning. Took me about 4 1/2 hours to drive there. Then a near two hour wait for the game as nobody seemed to know when it was supposed to start. And in this time it started to rain. So will have had a pair of holiday shorts on

I knew which one you meant, coz thankfully, it's never happened to me again! As for the mackerel and plastic bags, they don't like them but the bass do!
