For the 2nd game in a row I have no audio feed. I have paid my subscription. The guy from I Follow suggests I re boot my browser, but it is working OK for everything else. Any suggestions ?

might sound really obvious but when the video is playing, at the bottom of the video screen there’s a little speaker and it defaults to “mute” with a little “x” underneath it. tried clicking that?

Sorry can’t help directly fella but ifollow has been flaky for me in the past in terms of Audio and streaming so I’m suggesting it might not be an issue with your device. Also why is commentary from BBC CWR not available when viewing full match a few days later very frustrating. I’m live in Aus and not always awake to view live commentary however good or bad is essential

That's 3 games now with no audio feed. I need to contact I Follow or the club to get them to sort this problem out or give me a refund.
My brother, 150 miles away is having similar problems. I can't see a number or E Mail address on the site to contact (I wonder why ?). Any suggestions folks ?

ifollow audio commentary, on both the app and internet browser, have been absolutely woeful for me. They are apparently aware of problems on the former and suggested I use the website in the meantime.

I could listen to about 10 seconds of commentary before the audio feed resets. I've been emailing the following address, which hasn't helped (yet) but they have at least responded and made suggestions: ifollow@efl.com

In relation to iFollow. I deleted the officious Ccfc app to reinstall and now the Apple App Store says the app is not available. Is this right? I can’t find it anywhere.

I've stopped subscribing to iFollow this year, first time in probably 5 or more years since I left the UK. The service has gotten worse every year, not better. I've written to them and they say they're aware of issues but no commitment to fix. I've also written to the club who are also aware but I get the sense there's no intention to really improve or fix anything.

It's a shame because it's driving genuine customers into the hands of illegal streams and IPTV providers, purely because even as a paying customer with iFollow, you rarely get what you pay for.

I use ifollow in Australia. I subscribe through the CCFC website (no apps) and watch with Apple safari browser. No issues this season or last. Hope this little bit of info helps.

They will usually give a partial refund but only if you complain. I haven't had any issues with the audio feed (other than the mess at CWR!)

For me I've been locked out of watching games which they say is "due to using too many devices" but the system only lets you stream on a single device. In prior seasons, it would simply tell you this when you tried to open a stream. Many times I need to move rooms or devices during the game which is perfectly legit, but their system treats this as abusive behaviour and blocks you.

Last year they started blocking my account meaning I couldn't start a stream on any device - I had to have them manually lift those blocks and they told me the only way to guarantee was to "only ever log in on one device" which is just stupid. The system used to handle this perfectly well, but it has regressed.

Then there's also that full screen doesn't work on iOS devices, there's a huge banner at the bottom of the Cov app that persists when you full screen, which is sort of the opposite of full screen. Oh and rewind no longer works, whereas it used to.

So all in all it feels to me like the service has gotten worse since I first started subscribing - and being blocked so many times last season from using it was the last straw. I'd happily resubscribe if they fix the overly aggressive blocking, but no commitment from them to do it. Seems they're happy to take the money and let the product / experience worsen for the customer. So I'm no longer a customer, regrettably.

Last season I used the app, however this season it has not been working. Wrote to the club, they did reply within 24 hours but just said the developers were working on it... blah blah.

I have been watching through web app and it's been fine. I did though notice that the app had an update this week, so I HOPE this has fixed the issues on match days but I won't get my hopes up.

I have the Danish version of sky who show a lot of games, though it seems to be Wrexham every week which is ridiculous.

To those who want to watch on their phones, bypass the app entirely (it’s garbage) and just go on your selected web browser (I personally have been using Brave browser on my phone) and on the official cov website click through to iFollow as usual. This has solved all my problems personally.

Agreed that this year has been a lot worse than years gone by.

Haven't used the App since last year. It didn't work at all. I just sign onto the main CCFC site and connect directly from there. Not had a problem since.

Are you watching live? There is no audio (or game clock) on full game replays.
There always used to be until last season.
I did have an audio issue last year and switched browsers (can’t remember which) and that solved my issue.

Feel like I'm the exception. I don't seem to have any problems these days. Saying it is worse than ever seems a bit OTT when thinking back to those early days of a single camera, no replays or commentary etc. I imagine most of the problems mentioned are connected to your choice of browser or trying to access it from a UK IP address.

I'm abroad so UK IP address doesn't apply to me. I've used it for about 6 years, this is the first season I haven't.

I can put up with the crap with rewind not working, no airplay, no proper full screen etc - but when they start actively blocking me for genuine usage it just isn't worth the expense or the hassle. I don't think complaining about being fully blocked from the service on a matchday (and having to wait days for them to respond) is OTT. Anyways, I've voted with my measly wallet.

I remember problems in the early days when their customer service was poor. Sorry you've had so many problems with it, and of course your complaints about being blocked in such circumstances are not OTT. You've plainly lost patience but I can't help thinking there is probably a simple solution to the problems you have faced.

You can still watch the games blocked that are being shown in the country you live. Luxembourg don't have the rights to show games so if you set your VPN to there you still get to see the game.

Out of the country for the Oxford game, every time I selected the Oxford match and the option to "Watch live", it took me to the Norwich match!! ( which I almost paid for by mistake). This happened about 10 times over a period of about 20 mins, until just about kick off time, when suddenly it presented the right game, and I was able to pay and the stream worked fine. All of this was via. the CCFC website using Android & Chrome.

I hope the club are picking up all these issues, rather than just shrugging their shoulders.

You misunderstand - I was not blocked because the game was being shown in my country, I was blocked because I had used "too many devices" despite the fact that you can only ever stream on one. Essentially this is an anti-abuse system that's gone wrong.

That's how it started and it ended with their system adding some form of long term block which they had to manually remove each time it happened, which obviously could take hours or days which is not a lot of use when you're paying to watch a live football game. Ultimately their advice was I should only ever log in on a single device and some devices of mine were permanently blocked. It is all very customer hostile and impractical and stupid, hence no longer being a customer.

I believe the club have limited control over the system and will just shrug because it's not something they control. The contact I had at the club who also had some choice iFollow feedback has gone silent, I think because there is nothing they feel they can do about it.

I had the “too many devices” problem in January last year and missed all the games during the winning run. After persisting with ifollow technical support they logged me out of all devices from their side, which fixed the issue. In future they recommended always logging out after watching a match, I’ve done that and it’s worked since then (touch wood).

I have been in correspondence with IFollow and basically they say it's not their fault as they have had few complaints, and won't do a refund. As others have said, they just don't want to know. Good job a lot of the games are televised, so I don't have to rely on their non service too often.

I had this all second half at the weekend too. They’re clearly persisting sessions way too long on their end and being stupidly overzealous with detecting things they think mean you are breaking rules as opposed to things like changing WiFi network or access point or, god forbid, opening a new browser window.

The sooner we are not required by the league to participate in this crap the better, we could build something better than costs much less money and earns the club more but the EFL are very content just creaming off the top whilst insisting we use their shitty service.

I would think legally weather the Club can fix it or not, whoever you paid you enter into a contract with them. If there is a fault and they are aware of it as "they have had a few complaints" they surely are in breach of contract? Not a lawyer but if they cant fix it, surely you should be entitled for a refund.

It is reasonable to push for a refund, but I never had any luck doing that when the system was unusable for many games last year, due their own faulty & over-zealous abuse detection systems.

The only way really is to stop subscribing and find alternatives, as grim as that is.

I had to buy a game package twice last season because the system wouldn’t accept my log in. Refund was easy with an email request.

Just to give you an insight into where the EFL's priorities are - there's no ability to give feedback on iFollow at all in the EFL supporter's survey. I noticed a single question where iFollow was a checkbox about how you watch games, but nowhere are you able to tell them how shit it is .
