Better we just liquidate now then and save all the hassle, eh?

I don't campaign for SISU - I want the best for City. I try to see things from their perspective and don't think all their criticism is fully justified, along with Carl Baker...

7/6/13 Coventry City captain Carl Baker has said that he does not have a problem with SISU but hopes that the fans will stick with the club.
Writing on Facebook, Baker said: "Just to let people know I don't care who our owners are. I don't have a problem with Sisu and respect them they have always kept their word with me.
"I just said I don't wanna leave the Ricoh I don't wanna play outside the city and I'm sure nobody does even Sisu but if that's how it's gonna be then that's how it's gonna be we'll deal with it and move on and ill get on with my job an give my all for the club I love.
"No matter what happens Ricoh or not, Cov is a massive club with unbelievable fans who I think and hope will support the club they have all their life even through the bad times cos that's what it's all about.
"When you decide what team your gonna support its like taking marriage vows, ha through sickness and health and till death do us part.
"Hopefully things will get sorted sooner rather than later so we can talk about football stuff rather than off field on goings.
PUSB."

Would you leave a tenant in one of your properties if the tenant had renaged on deals and witheld rent?
Sisu are a known bad bunch which is why ACL and CCC will no longer deal with them.
It was reported in 2012 an agreement had been reached between ACL,CCC and Hoffman group for the Ricoh.
Sisu deserve nothing but being shown the Exit door.
They got their knickers in a twist and forced this situation a long long time ago.........Sisu out! NOPM:jerkit:

Fucking rent and tenant analogies again.

Everybody can play at those, pointless though.

If you rented somewhere that was much bigger than you needed and more than you could afford would you stay there or move somewhere smaller and cheaper?

Look! What's the difference between liquidation and being under the control of SISU ... Nothing!!

All we have been doing is going backwards under there regime and it will carry on and on till sooner or later it is going to happen with losses we are occurring and all this being adding on to the £60m debt. We are at present flat lining and SISU cannot get us out of this. You have to be realistic about this, moving out and building a new stadium is just prolonging our demise.

We as a club at the moment are haemorrhaging and we need a transfusion urgently. The only best option we have is a new takeover with an initial reasonable deal and nothing more. Surely you can see that.

The best option IS a takeover, of course. But would I rather the club folded than have SISU in charge. Nope, not in a million years. SISU will be gone one day, so wanting your club liquidated is inexcusable for me. Up to you, of course, but I'd rather have a club to support than not, even if that club were in L2.

Completely agree about working both ways. Have said previously that Sisu have been no better or worse than owners of Ccfc since Derek robins but once you have a fundamental breakdown of relationship all parties need to accept the future is apart.

Personally I blame Sisu more than acl Ccc and Higgs but it doesn't matter, there is no deal to be done. Fisher or joy need to name their price and we need to get in bed with new owners to see if they can be trusted.

All true, to a degree. But you don't own the club. SISU do!
you probably claim beneficial ownership!, but that's another thing!
If SISU get a decent offer they will probably wisely take it! After all the stick they have got who could blame them!
So what?
If any incoming owner still winds up under the council ownership tree of the Ricoh, we still won't be any better off

But that's not what he's doing. He's clearly in an awkward position so he's telling people that he's personally not been ill-treated and would like to play in front of as many fans as possible, yet as a player is powerless to make the decision himself.

I think other bidders have a plan for more than 1 outcome both have made it clear the club comes with the ground and only that deal will enable them to proceed with any investment. TF made a point last night which most knew, the first SISU plan was to invest get promotion and sell or bounce using prem money, this without care of the ground, without care of failure and without any regard for long term aims...As Tim said simple plan, bring a football person RR with enough investment to win promotion and all the rest looks after itself....

SISU seen a massive chance and were sold a dream, for a quick investment you could earn an even bigger reward when we get promotion, without ever considering the failure of this project.. Blame everything else you can, but you will come back to this being the route cause of our current plight,, greed over took the realism of how hard it would be to get promotion.. TF ? Sisu can say what they want, they failed to plan and now we are paying the costs, rent didn't bother them in 2007, crowds didnt bother them in 2007, Ltd, Holdings GS, and all that follows comes back to that point.. They are to blame for this situation as they never thought of what if promotion is not gained, they didn't consider failure and its implications. In fact they if asked would admit they got so far in they didnt know how to get out without losing all the monies put in which is still the problem as we all sit here today worried about what we all love no matter of stance...

Just not with Sisu though unfortunately because the council and ACL find the way Sisu operate as abhorrent and do not trust them.

The only way out of this sorry mess I can see is Sisu to go and new owners come in.

If not, all I can see is at least one more relegation and the new stadium being a lot further away than 3 years.

Fisher did himself no favours at all last night, as he came across as smarmy and totally disrespectful of the fans feelings. He truly didn't seem to care how fans felt.

Fan after fan was saying how many years they had been going up and that they will not move and will stop watching and he didn't appear to care one jot.

I just can't support the club while SISU have hijacked it. I am not good at heartbreaks I will constantly experience this under SISU.

Every owner need a chance to prove themselfs but SISU have been with us for 5 years and all they have achieved is nothing but failure... at least under Bryan Richardson we saw some great football and memories, whilst under SISU , all my memories have been bad. The low came for me when we lost decent manager in Robins to Huddersfield after just three months. In my living memory as a sky blue fan, I have never seen that happen. This is what broke the camels back for me regarding my total loss in confidence in SISU.

This is why I feel that if the club is suffering that badly then sadly put it down or find someone who can cure it. I would prefer the second option but it may not happen whilst SISU spread there cancer in the club.

Since SISU have been in control of CCFC in 2008, all I have seen are owners with serious lack of ambitions for the club and some of our sky blue supporters we have in our midst keep backing them having the same lack of ambition.

I rather see CCFC liquidate than it sitting in league1 or 2 without any ambitions and sitting in a tin pot stadium. This is not the sky blue way.

So the Richardson era is ok, because we have footballing memories even though that era is the main fault for the problems we're in now? I.e spending money we didnt have on having a punt tha putting us in debt we hav never recovered from, and selling the ground, etc?

Mine too...I don't think he did himself any favours last night at all and if it's true that he cut the forum 40 minutes short to go and sit in the bar I think he realised that with a bit more probing when he was squirming and evading answering the difficult questions, it would have seen him unmasked as the untrustworthy, 'spin doctor' that doesn't care what the fans think, that he clearly is.

Agree .... but any new owner coming in will get full support from the fans and the fans will expect full support from the council too.

Believe me the council will be stepping on egg shells not to Fcuk this up as if they did there would be cross party rebellion within the council for sure and I can't see the media, the fans and people of Coventry backing them.

That is why I feel confident that the council will now have to do the right thing with the new owners. Unfortunately too much water under bridge between the council and SISU so club will not be able to move forward under there regime.

this "abhorrence" is pure hysteria whipped up by balloon tying stakeholders that should know better!
Why should SISU not get support just as much as a "NEW" owner?
