Saw this and was very confused, saw 3 players Hussey, Clingan and Baker. Saw AT go up to them at the end of the game and they just brushed him off, one of them was very annoyed about something.

I disagree that Hussey was dire.

I didnt see it but the old man told me about it.

Very strange why they'd be coming to blows!

Maybe the pressure is getting to the players?

Don't think Hussey deserved the tellings off most of the time. Baker doesn't carry on as he's given it to Hussey and leaves him with no one to pass it to so kicks up against the opposition

I do feel a bit for Hussey, with Baker or Sheff he is on his own!

Hussey and Baker were having quite a go at each other during the Leshtur game too.

I thought Baker worked hard today defensively and offensively, the system we play is a narrow midfield so regardless of who plays the full backs are going to be exposed at times.

Not what you need from your captain. Yes shout instructions, but abuse your position! (As said above, i havent heard / witnessed this first hand but if it was like this then it is unacceptable)

I did see that Christie blast, Christie tried to play it long and lost it when clingan was square and free. There's nothing wrong with a telling off as long as he also praises good play.

Baker was shocking!! As usual... Really don't know why this guy is a footballer as he looks nothing like one

He does seem to dish out a lot of stick to his teammates.

I guess it depends exactly HOW he does it, could dent some players confidence especially the kids. Saw him really lay into Christie and Biggie

I imagine he's frustrated. Not hid fault we've not invested. He's the skipper and the guys around him need to learn from him. They show promise, but the're raw and they need to listen. If they are ignoring him he has every right to let them have it. He was a class act again today and MoM for me by a country mile

But the youngsters need encourgment from the captain not abuse

He may have a nonleague background, but at 22 he's not one of the youngsters. Many in the squad his age or younger. As far as I know Sammy was shouting and talking to Gael and Linford, only remonstrating with Hussey.

Rob as someone stated he was shouting at all the youngsters. They don't need that. They need encourgment and pads on the back. Big step up and different surroundings for them.

I agree mate, but I don't think we can molly-coddle them and shouting is not the same as abuse. People react to different things having trained all week with them, I'm hopeful he knows how to make them tick.
