What's the point of signing these players if they're not fit?

I was thinking the same thing and add Cole to that list. We seem to be in the habit of signing players who take weeks to be fit enough to play. I guess they are cheaper that way but it's not helping the team on the pitch.

Listening to TM, Rose will come in for Fleck.

I thought Mowbrays comments on fleck were a bit odd. Bigged him at times this season as the oil in the machine, just called him "another footballer"

Fleck is probably off, tbh. Whether Rose is a replacement, I dunno, he doesn't seem like a ball-playing DM.

I really want to see Lorentzson and Hunt fit and performing.

Tbf ones Injured and the other two have hardly had time to put their cases down! What's the hurry?

Rose will likely come in next week for Fleck and wouldn't be surprised to see Hunt thrown into the mix too.

Be surprised if Cole and Hunt played in the same team though

He was fantastic first half then absolutely awful second. It was like he'd never seen a football before.

Fleck got booked on purpose then? He was awful, trying to be clever and play the difficult ball, but cocked up big time.

Yes that was strange, plus when asked about the second he started off by referring to Tudgay, but I'm guessing he was wanting to make reference to us having our back to the strikers hence us playing it back and resulting in conceding despite having Tudgay on the pitch

There are 19 games to go, plenty of time to re- structure the team, I expect Lorentzen, Hunt and Rose to come into the team and stay in and that's for starters, also there's this Hooi or if not him some other wide man and maybe a striker too. I am still very hopeful of automatics

Yeah heard that and thought it was a bit odd.
Most likely just playing down his likely absence.
Is It two games for ten before Feb?

Then again the pitch cut up a bit and the ball was bobbling around at times. The pitch is going to be a complete state for the run in, it's in a worst state than last season nearly.

Yep, the amount of rain we've had and a whole season of egg chasing, good job they put that new specialist pitch in....

He did seem determined to get booked following that first foul in the sequence of the tussle.

Flecks worst game this season didn't come looking for the ball of the defenders as when he runs games.

Ramage looked off the pace and was poor

Grass appears to be cut extremely short from what I can see.

In need of Lorentzson right now, Rose and Hunt will be good additions also. Where does Rose play in the midfield? PUSB

If Fleck wants to go then it's just thanks and goodbye from me.

Once someone wants to leave I think we simply have to move on and stop fussing over them anymore.

Pitch looks poor. Considering it was a specialist pitch for all weathers and two sports, if I was Wasps I'd be asking for a refund!

If Fleck was the type of player that wanted out, I think he'd have wanted out long before now, and not when it looks like me might just be going the right way about getting out of this league.

maybe he just wanted a break and being suspended again was the o my way he was going to be able to get one

Having an off day doesn't mean Fleck wants away it happens. What I want now is for whoever comes in keeps Fleck out that way we improve

Mowbray is just covering all the bases with cover, imagine if we had to play Finch or Thomas for two matches now with the Fleck ban.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Hunt involved on Saturday v Southend plus I think rose might get a place on bench & lorentzson at right back if fit

Personally thought Fleck was our best player in the first half. Not sure how having a poor 2nd half means he's leaving though...

I think Lorentzson got injured after joining us. I think with the rest it is match fitness that is theissue. Other reasons, no fee. Free agents so can assess them in training first. Most important of all would you sign a player of less ability for the sake of three or 4 games to get a better player fully match fit?

He did. First training session I think.
