It looked like he’d done his calf muscle when he was sat by the post, Dom Hyam into the line up won’t let us down.

If they are struggling for a manager I think we should put Grendel forward with Nick as his assistant.

It’s more just as a test. To be fair I feel it more for those teams with a manager busting a blood vessel shouting throughout the game rather than mild mannered mark

I just think that a wider view of the game overall can help those on the touchline if they're in contact with them. Sometimes you see things that you'd can't at eye-level.

Although MR can be a bit too quiet on the touchlines IMO and won't change things when everyone can see what's coming, I think a manager that just bawls and screams from the touchline constantly can have a negative effect as the players just feel they can't do anything right without being shouted out and sometimes probably stop listening. Plus, we've got Adi to add that balance in.

If MR could get animated from time to time when things aren't working I think it'd have a very strong effect because he doesn't do it often. With my grandparents I had one who would shout and tell you off for the tiniest thing and although you were afraid of their temper you didn't take their criticism's too seriously. One of the others was incredibly placid and I only remember them telling me off twice. But I remember them vividly because of it and I knew I must've done something really wrong for them to do it.

So if no Fadz I’d go the same plus Hyam:

Moore
Hyam Rose JCS
Dabo Hamer Allen Maatsen
O’Hare
Godden Gyokeres

S: Wilson, Kane, Sheaf, Four random U23s I guess

I always felt there should be someone from the tactical team in the stands watching the game from a higher angle to get a better overall look of the game to relay to the bench. Maybe they do have someone up in the posh seats doing just that?

There usually is. You have the analysts sat up there. It's where scouts etc. would usually position themselves too, gives a much broader overview.

We was discussing at work last week regarding the antics of the Luton Town Manager on the touch line and where that behaviour will take him and we all said an early grave

There was no doubt that he does it as he believes it’ll get the best out of bang average players but regardless of why he does it it won’t be having a positive effect on his health.

He will probably simply smirk the suggestion off but a simple phone call from Alex Ferguson and the heart issues ferguson faced will hopefully calm down the Luton managers theatrical attention seeking behaviour before it’s to late.

Paul Travis is one of the most important members of the back room team and will work very closely with MR , I think he played a instrumental role on Saturday , he’s been at the club since Coleman was there

I'm hearing players ok at the moment, but like SBB said, back room staff falling like flies.

Due to incubation period, it could start to affect players later in week....???

Me +1 for this with the ticket offer, bringing Mum to her first game since Birmingham in November. Can't really predict the line up with all the uncertaintly re covid/injuries but without too much upheaval I'll go with 2-0 home win

I'd expect, come Saturday, there will a few out with Covid....be amazed if not.

Lawrence and The GK coach were positive yesterday, and the squad shared a changing room with them on Saturday!....

Despite the fact the players are young and thus less likely to be seriously affected, putting their lungs and bodies under that much exertion and stress while dealing with what is still a severe respiratory disease is a dangerous thing to do. The damage it could do that could affect them in later life could be catastrophic.

I think it's a bit more than 'just crack on'.

Yeah this is a fair point. I mentioned earlier on that we should just get on with it but I've currently got it and tried to do a home workout yesterday. What would normally be an easy 20 minute workout was a lot more difficult and breathing became very difficult. I imagine it wouldn't be much fun playing 90 minutes with Covid
