Agree with this

A away draw would be decent

And silver lining would be all the glory fans who got a ticket to see us clinch would be annoyed I guess?!

I got a ticket because its the last one I can get to this season. Never expected it to be a promotion game at all but if it works out that way I'll be hard as fuck.

Still go Rudi to come on and change the play. Frank knows if we can hold on then step it up again.. Hull were fading in the first half and won’t keep the energy up all game.

I knowI do! But think it's inevitable we keep Grimes, Onyeka and Rudi so they're the obvious choices to make way for replacements

It's a match thread and people are commenting on the match, and it's not been great.

What positives are you seeing from that performance?

It’s been a game for weathering the storm then trying to gain a foothold which we have done.

Torp just isn’t agile enough in the 10 role, needs too long. Generally they are snapping into it a bit more.

Never said any different. He's on about moaning not general commentary.

It's been below par.

Frank hasn't looked happy so not going to script. Storm weathered, now to nick it. Rudoni on at 60ish minutes and the games changes

I think if he’s match sharp(er) he’d be ok but struggled tonight

Yeh I'm joking. It would be nice to clinch at home.

Im missing Pompey so don't worry it will end up being then!

Based on what?

In terms of starts and minutes in the league this season, excluding this game.

Torp - 57% starting eleven up 58% minutes
Eccles - 43% starting eleven 38% minutes

Eccles has missed 6 games through injury but Torp has missed 4 games through injury. 2 games isn't enough for the massive difference in starting 11 and game minutes.

But people are moaning about the performance. Think everyone's aware ofcyhe bigger picture, but as,a stand alone 45 minutes, that wasn't great

Taking my old man on Saturday then going up to Blackburn with my mum, so hopefully see us promoted with one of my folks.

Yeh I don't think Lampard thinks like us fans, Eccles is in better form and has started a few recently so the assumption is Lampard prefers him. Earlier in the season Torp was playing way more.

I think we’re seeing why Torp never plays in the 10. Doesn’t quite know where to put himself and doesn’t have the stamina of Eccles to be all over the pitch.

Think we can finish the job to night. Wright missed sitters first half, I'm sure Lamps let him know that!

I think it might be as simple as seeing how many chances Eccles and Rudoni had between them on Friday and putting Torp in as he’s a better finisher than Eccles.

I agree, there's not much between them, I don't see Lampard rating one "a lot higher" than the other.
