Has anything been said/rumoured on what’s up with Thomas?

0-0 is a fair half-time score I guess considering how close Palmer came to scoring. Wright should have scored, but their goalie seems a lot better than Collins.

Simms has made a big difference with his ability to upset the defence with his strength and pace . It's what makes him more of a natural number 9 than Wright

You have to take your chances.

It's worrying. Looked well in control, but you can see Hull grabbing a goal when they counter attack.

It's very frustrating and Simms, although, doing well on a number of occasions, is once again let down by the ball bouncing off his shins all the time

We have been able to play through them easily, go round them on the wings and go over them as well.

Very promising

We have played some lovely stuff but Hull are poor and we look under powered up front

Great defending at the end there to avoid conceding . Grimes and lati even though nearly an own goal

We look the better side though. Midfield working well. Let's see if we can make breakthrough second half.

It’s not really worrying as we look a lot better than we have for weeks - Sunderland aside

Best we have played for a while, just lacking the finishing. Great defending to keep KP out.

Would need a bit of an additional stretch to make it a long throw.

Decent half just no goal! Bit more clinical and we are walking away with the points. Hopefully no more squeaky bum moments like that palmer chance

To be fair to Sheaf, as much as he was caught it was a horrible ball into him. We just need to make better decisions.

Just praying they don't bring on Crooks. I can see him causing havoc from long throws. We are the better team, playing lots of lovely stuff, but....come on City. A win would be huge.

Not as good with his feet though (he doesn’t take an age to pass the ball, doesn’t invite pressure and then doesn’t play a hospital pass into midfield)

Thought everyone played well so far. DaSilva and Van Erwijk have been excellent. First goal will be crucial.

Delighted with all but the lack of goals. I don't see the goal line clearance as a bad thing whatsoever.

Sheaf dispossessed, we were scrambled, and we had bodies on the line to keep them out. That's an outstanding response on the back foot.

We need to push on for the win. Hull look really poor, and a lot of their chances have come from our high line.

That wasn't the most exciting half of football, but we should be winning on the balance of it.

Despite the fact they've got almost nothing in attack, our defence really doesn't fill me with confidence.

Hull have not been anywhere near our goal until that appalling tackle on Sheif and the Referee decides to ignore it and they nearly score, I was OK when I see it was Palmer though he only does Hollywood stuff so simple tap ins is a no no
