Thinking about it a point wouldn’t be disastrous but I hate playing teams fighting for survival. Yes we should win on paper but look what happened at Derby

We were rather lucky with injuries that season if I recall. As you say anything past the first 13/14 players was absolute dog mess.
Different group though, I think we can handle most injuries, but our backup CBs are not the one if we're being honest are they.

Yeah but he said emc out for season too. You mentioned just torp so thought maybe that one had been confirmed by club

Not good situation for sure. 4 midfielders for 3 spots.

He has been as good as injured all season in his defence. Perhaps he is going to do a Liam Kelly and come back and play his best football at the most important time?

Fair point - I am not having a go at him, just been disappointing for a while.
Unfortunately, he may also hold back slightly for the very reason you mention...

Oh well fuck it. We still have more than enough. Is what it is. Tonight we will see just how good the squad togetherness is. Lati and Simms coming in are more than capable and will want to be involved with the run in. Still looking forward to the game.

3-1 hull

God that defence worries me. Lati really needs to step up tonight and show why Burnley wanted him

He was a highly inflexible player. In the contest with Gerrard, it was always Gerrard (the better and more varied player) who had to give way because Lampard could only do one thing - attacking midfield - but was no good in a defensive role. At least Gerrard could do that, or had to completely give way to a specialist defensive midfielder like Gareth Barry. Formation was drive in part by Lampard's limitations

Good to see robins still checks in.

Time for people to step up. Lati had had good games under Lampard (Millwall away). Got to back them to have an impact.

Big game for Simms and Sheaf. Both expected to be key players this season and both been off it. Would be great if they could turn up to the party.

According to saddle. Not official from lampard or club yet I don't think

But yeah he prob is as saddle usually right

So not good at all rotation wise

Add Thomas back in for lati and this is the 11 we really need to keep fit to play every game ideally

Forgot about them. Guess we have full back cover with Bidwell.

Moore is in for midfield before howley (unless he's injured)

No tavares

Are you on serious drugs?

Lampard has taken us from 2 points out of the relegation battle to being in 6th and playing a game in hand tonight where a win will put us in 5th and 5 points ahead of 7th with just 4 games remaining and you're still questioning if he is good enough for us because we've score a few late goals.

So who would have been your choice of manager and what does Lampard have to do to make you happy?

Can’t include the added time goals

I find our injury list mad

At FT V Sunderland we went into the international break with a fully fit squad

We now have

Dovin
EMC
Torp
Thomas
Eccles
BTA

All out injured for potentially the season (Eccles Thomas BTA Hopefully back) in a 4 week period

Absolute capitulation Injury wise I can't fathom it
Would be interesting to know what type of injuries.

You can't help some but I remember the England cricket physio talking about the data they collect and how every player is constantly in one of three groups, fine to play, can play but be cautious or likely to get an injury if they play. The way he spoke it was very unusual that, in this instance, Stuart Broad had got injured while rated fine to play.

Have we pushed the squad to far and created our own problem or is it just bad luck to get a bunch of injuries at the same time.

Don't agree, they are our players right now, surely we need to utilise them? Especially ahead of a second GK
