I am going for a 2 nil defeat unfortunately.

I just have this feeling it will be like Derby all over again.

If that's the case there's going to be a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth after the game on here.

Come on and prove me wrong, City.

absolute meltdown on socials we’re playing hull not Liverpool, plenty in that team to cause problems for anyone, wright simms sakamoto, sheaf grimes rudoni, that’s quality, just probably need to score 3

jfc some of the panic on here. If the limit for the bench was seven I'm convinced no one would be flapping. If we pad it by giving two U21s a chance to experience a matchday squad, who f*cking cares?

Got a good feel for that team. About as strong as we can put out and staying with his preferred 433.

Not an awful lot on the bench to change it up.

We need to be injecting Bobby Thomas with whatever is in the doctors cupboard to get him back asap.

Calling it now-this squad as is will not hold on to the top 6. Too much strength taken out of it.

Way too positive again there BSB.

Season’s over because of a few injuries… give over.

Is that Isaac Moore on the bench?

For a second I thought Simon Moore was back and we'd gone with the 3 keepers on the bench option

Time for people to step up. Lati had had good games under Lampard (Millwall away). Got to back them to have an impact.

It's some of his passing (yeah, Thomas isn't great either, but he seems to show a better degree of control than Lati).

It's also his flat-footedness on occasion and the uncanny ability to give really daft penalties away.

Let's hope he has a storming game.

Sitting in the playoffs two points clear and one game in hand, only five games to go. Our season has never been more over.

Despite all the cries of woe on here, that side is one player off our best 11

I find our injury list mad

At FT V Sunderland we went into the international break with a fully fit squad

We now have

Dovin
EMC
Torp
Thomas
Eccles
BTA

All out injured for potentially the season (Eccles Thomas BTA Hopefully back) in a 4 week period

Absolute capitulation Injury wise I can't fathom it

Hopefully, bleach. That would then stop him getting COVID too.

I don’t blame anyone for their opinion as he has been shown up plenty but with Grimes now almost becoming another Cb in defence maybe it’ll take some pressure of him and he can focus on simple passes

The negativity and over the top emotional posts are genuinely mental.

That starting XI is more than capable of three points and the bench still has Bassette (paid money for), Paterson (experienced pro finding form), Allen (experienced pro) and Raphael (unknown, could be shit, could be good but rated by FL).

Calm down.

Think it’ll be the opposite, we were on a great run and thought we just had to turn up against derby, midfield was Eccles torp Allen I think, much stronger tonight, keep the faith

Hopefully Thomas has a slight niggle and they are saving him for Friday and Monday. The games are really coming thick and fast at the moment and we'd be mad to think players are not going to suffer. I'm sure all teams are the same

Hoping to invoke my own version of GIMOC's rule. When you've been as wrong as I have all season it's best to double down

I do feel better when we win after I have said we have no chance of winning.

It's much more satisfying for some bizarre reason.

Plays as a half back, in that in possession he tucks into the back three and helps with linking the pitch and pulling players into position.

Out of position will step up with Sheaf

On paper and all 3 in form, it’s arguably the best championship midfield imo

Hopefully no more injuries today. Feeling more confident than I was before, I think we'll scrape it. Simms to score.
