Billy Davies, Neil warnock, Chris houghton, Neil lennon, Brian McDermott?

Or Stephen pressley in a current run of 4 wins in 24. No I don't see it at all.

Roughly the Stats that have just led to Robins going.

Billy Davies seems to have come from nowhere to 2/1. To sack a manager after one game i suspect someone has already been sounded out about the job.

I thought that too, although look at the farce that happened here when we got rid of Thorn with no one lined up.

Not that I'm suggesting any other club would follow our lead when it comes to doing business

Yes, but believe it or not Samo, he's a good bloke - supported City (and followed them everywhere) - for years!

I'll take your word for it. He sounded a lot like Booby Gould actually. Wasn't helpful though.

4 in 24 you say? Perhaps we should be hoping they get him?

Whoever he was, he was right wasn't he! We are fucking shit and teams with lower wage bills piss all over us. He's doing his best considering though.

Steven Pressley, Dave Jones, Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, it wouldn't make a scrap of difference.

He'll get no support from the owners, minimal funds and be expected to attract players to play at Sixfields.

The position must surely be the least attractive in English football.

It's probably not. Just less attractive than it would be at the Ricoh.

CT's thinking:

Ah huddlesfield need a new manager...ok, where did they get the last one from?...oh, yes it was mark Robbins poached from Coventry....interesting, hmmm well they probably like Coventry managers then, so they 'could' look to poach Pressley...

Your last two posts make no sense. In one you're saying it's good he's the bookies favourite; and in the next claim that the Telegraph's article is based on nothing but conjecture and guesswork.

Wouldn't they be right to pose the question given his status in the betting you elude to in your first post?!?

Very much the same but Robbins has got a decent budget and players. James Vaughan and Joe Murphy on the bench. Good team really they have.

i am not overly critical of pressley yet given what and who he has to put up with, however if we return home it will put a great deal of scrutiny on him

I think if we want some comedy moments we should dredge out your threads hero worshiping the fat lazy loser that fooled you into believing he was a football manager.

Surely; even you must be getting bored of dragging up the Thorn issue every time you're losing a debate, no?

Funny that he has been on many threads in the last few days tried to get the answers he wants to hear? Then when he doesn't he ether derails the thread or stays away very funny and sad really.

But makes my day seeing him running around loke an idiot something to read while at the pool.

Getting back to the original thread, will Pressley leave, listen to the forum interview says a lot, Robins did a good job for CCFC, Why did he leave? money or driven out by lies by SISU. Pressley leaving, why not, typical lies from SISU.

At the third time of asking ,why do you feel the need to attack Thorn personally rather than his football managerial skills( or lack of ). As someone said on here not long ago , tone it down a bit mate!

That doesn't make a lot of sense but essentially my whole point is you engineer an acceptable solution that will give sisu a potential exit strategy.

Oddly your stance of make them pay for everything and see them suffer will ensure they hang around longer.

What does that say about you?

You certainly seem to want them hanging around for a long time.

I guess it's just an act - are you related to fisher by any chance?

I think you'll find it was Don who started it. Of course you showed poor judgement there as well. What argument have I lost - rather like thorn I am right about this and you, sadly, have again been proved wrong.

I fail to see those remarks as being personal.

He was fat
He was definitely lazy
He was certainly a loser.

Of course. You misrepresent my stance on the Thorn issue. As you do every time. I can take you directly to threads where you enthused over Fisher and Waggot though. Want me to post a couple of links by means of refresher? You can then disappear for a day or so before returning as if nothing's happened with your unerring diatribe

I don't think Huddersfield will come in for SP. He still has a lot to prove.

No he's not related to Fisher and therefore by definition nor am I,because if we were we would have knocked some sense into him by now. You on the other hand are quite happy to see them around and agree with all of their actions what does that say about you?

I say you encourage the other side to make the asset as strong as possible so alternate buyers may be encouraged.

Ah typical MMM picking apart posts....

No, not really. Betting odds for next manager rarely correlates to what happens especially so early...otherwise, we'd have had Wise, Ince, Wilder or Brown instead of Robbins and Pressley.

For all we know, the CT could have come first and that caused a fluctuation in betting bringing his odds down.

It seems to me that the link to the huddlesfield article, doesn't seem to suggest Pressley is a firm favourite.

Me thinks you're being picky for picky sake.

Oh well I'm holiday, sat in a bar having a beer.....

It's not nitpicking. You're mocking the Telegraph for fabricating or embellishing the story as it's without foundation; I'm telling you that as he's favourite in the betting - as you mention in your first post - it is with foundation. Our manager is favourite for a vacant role. That's news worthy in the sports section, surely?
