Soz if it's been mentioned, I noticed Huckerby was on Soccer A.M saturday, only seen a little bit of the 'best bits' the other day. Did he mention anything about his days at Cov?

Remember the goal he set Dion up for, against Newcaslte, his debut wasn't it? Lightening quick to the by-line, pulled it back and BOOM!! West Terrace went wild....

Sure it was Newcastle, went two up attacking the West Terrace, cant remember who got the other one, Shearer equalised for them second half. 1996/97?

You're talking about his debut where he came off the bench? That was against Villa, made it 1-1. Then Staunton scored from about 25 yards to win it - deflected off McAllister! Think he went round Southgate and pretty sure it was either his 1st or 2nd touch.

newcastle was his second game thought he scored in that though,villa was deffo his first game i was in the west terrace when he skinned southgate

Villa was the first game - on as sub and set up the goal, Newcastle second game he started and scored the first in a 2-1 victory, looked superb in that game.
