Stumbled across this for parking; http://www.ricoharenaparking.co.uk/

Not https at payment though, which screams fake site or at worst, very unsecure.

Never heard of the site before... then again not required parking at the Ricoh for quite some time!

No Idea.

ACL have tweeted to say official parking is £10 and first come first serve on the night, or can be brought in advance in person at the Ricoh (not sure where you'd go though if go up before the game. Main reception maybe?)

Yeah that's all bookings in person via the reception only, won't be in Coventry until the night and can't chance Car Park C will be free.

The http://www.ricoharenaparking.co.uk/ site mentions Karl Chester who's name appears on the actual Ricoh site http://www.ricoharena.com/sport/sport-events/ccfc-matches/ccfc-gillingham/ very poor if it is them, but got my doubts.

Found my usual car park is actually open, so will use that http://www.walktrot.com/new_page_4.htm

If it's has no https and I am making payments, personally I would avoid it.

It does seem dodgy

Hi just to confirm that this car park is official, it is part of the Ricoh arena operation and has been for 9 years.

It is part of the traffic management operation, "Green travel plan", there is multiple sites that we use, schools, local authorities, private land and charities.

If anyone is still concerned please feel free to call Ricoh Arena Reception and asked for car parking.

Kind regards

Nope, never heard of it. £3 in Leekes isn't bad though. Unfortunately I go with a moaning 8 year old and a moaning 74 year old so Leekes would be labelled "too far". My Dad was panicking a bit so I did have to go across to the Ricoh earlier in the afternoon to get a Car Park C ticket for a tenner. Thanks to Karl, who was a very nice man.

Ha ha. I've got my accountant's hat on today; so checked at the bottom, of that page ( http://www.ricoharenaparking.co.uk/ ), it lists 'EVENT SUPPORT TEAM LTD' and 'Company No.09025788'.

Checking that back at Companies House; it shows one director - an 18 year chap called Anthony Kavanagh; and an incorporation date for the business of 6th May 2014.

I'm not saying it's a scam (or anything like that), but from what I can see with regards the company details shown at the bottom of that page, and what's reported at Companies House, I cannot reconcile that with the statement that it's been part of the 'Ricoh arena operation and has been for 9 years'

Why? Someone stated they thought 'It does seem dodgy'; and I've reported back what I found at Companies House. Again, I'm sure it's the proper operation, but it is seemingly run by an 18 year old and was incorporated in May of this year. What's pompous about taking the time to report that back so that folks have more information to make a decision?

Not at the time I posted what I did. The first link doesn't work. Try it.

Besides, can you explain to me how - a company that's been 'part of the Ricoh arena operation' for 9 years, was only incorporated in May of this year and is run by a single director - an 18 year old?

I presented facts, some of which are unusual, you must admit. That's not 'pompous'; I was trying to be helpful.

You can't bleat on about pointing and name calling on the Sixfields attendees thread as you're the 'victim'; and then do exactly the same on another thread

Heavens above. You're obviously very sensitive following the Sixfields-sycophants allegations. You join a thread with name calling, then throw a stomp-off tantrum when someone comes back at you.

Do you need a Snickers?
