Get lashed for the whole weekend in the garden, whilst face timing my Cov mate in Walsgave, party across the waves

Did you buy it in case we escaped relegation that season and it has sat there since?

Nah, Christmas present (last year). I can assure you it wouldn’t have lasted in the fridge since 2012 whatever City did in the meantime.

In fact I’m surprised it’s lasted since Christmas tbf...

I'll be down in the village dressing the Frank Sidebottom statue in a Cov shirt, Sky Blue Fez and Scarf and sticking a couple of Sky Blue smoke bombs in his hands. Whilst singing 'we're on our way'.

It's what Frank would have wanted.

I’m sure my genitals will be involved.

Otherwise, tie my Cov flag on my back, put on some face paint, light a smoke bomb, and get the bottle of Lamb’s out. All will be done in the flat for my own benefit. Mrs can just accept it.

I've got it all planned - with immediate effect all company conference calls (WFH) would show me in full CCFC regalia with video enabled:happy:

Got a bottle of Moët 2012 Grand Vintage sitting in the fridge waiting for an excuse. Seems like the perfect one.

Edit: might blast ‘Go for it City’ out of the window to entertain my Brummie neighbours.

What a great vintage

I would feel a bit subdued. It is not really like winning it - and although in a strong position not nailed on with the amount of games left. Also my thoughts would be with clubs relegated or missing out on promotion or play offs, whose situation was even more undetermined than ours.

We should not rush back to playing football and most clubs at this level cant afford the behind closed doors scenario. If we get promoted it will be a bit hollow for me and not necessarilly one for a big celebration.

In proper 2019/2020 style for me, I’ll only join in celebrations if it’s on a Saturday in Birmingham!

Surprised I haven’t missed football more tbh!

Drink Sky Blue Army lager that I’ve ordered and wear City shirt all day. Look smug. Have a nice Indian Takeaway, if I can find one open down here that does deliveries or click and collect.
Sit on the pebble ridge down the road from me, near Westward Ho!, and watch the sun set over the sea and bring the curtain down on a successful season.
Look forward to the new dawn, the new season.

Bloody old stuff, nearly 8 years old. Sling it out and get down the offy for a nice bottle of Pomagne, now that's the real thing!

I once won 2 bottles of Pomagne in a tombola at some event (forgotten) at woodlands school, when I was still a pupil there. True story dat. Not sure you’d find many schools fairs giving booze to 12 year olds these days. Took it down ‘the brook’ and got pished if I recall.
