@ Torchy, and Godiva.......The more I look at the SISU "management Charge" situation, the more it starts to look like a PPI that wasn't asked for, wanted, or needed. Such a pity that the FSA aren't involved in this. Having used these guys to get back over £9k that was illegally with-held to me after paying my premiums after my Heart Attack in 2008. I'm no financial wizard, but it would be great if any new owners were disallowed to make charges like this.

How much sense would that make? What would be the purpose?
They would end up with absolutely no buyers of the club. And if the club was liquidated they would have only have created a Ricoh situation equal to now - a declinig business with decling value. They would lose money in that scenario.

Only one situation would benefit sisu - owning a financial viable stadium and a financial viable club playing there. It's a symbiotic relationship where together they are more valuable than the combined sum of them if seperated.
The two must be united under the same umbrella - be it Ricoh or a new stadium - only then will they both be viable.
And both will be sold on to the same buyer - Byng or Mr Rich Chinaman.

Here's a question for you: Sitting on the £14m loan to ACL, do you think the CCc have taken some kind of security against assets in ACL? I believe they have, if not they should be shot at dawn. And if they have - is that not exactly the same situation as the scenario you describe if you replace 'ARVO' with 'CCC'? Is that a profitable situation for CCc?

So which side would you trust the most for our club to have a future at the Ricoh. ACL or SISU?

Whilst the ricoh is owned/run by CCC/ACL our club will have some sort of future whatever state SISU leaves it in. At worse we would have to restart a few divisions down. If the ground is owned by someone that don't give a shite about the future of football in Coventry this is not the case.

Stop the obsession with Grendel. I never mentioned him. As for you being a liar. You are. You've lied many times in the past, from your comment regarding me not going again if my Dad didn't pay to park to the ridiculous notion that you've seen all these games live on soppytwatcast. You haven't.

The latest is this "evidence" that SISU were charging CCFC rent for playing at the Ricoh. If you believe that to be the case then fair enough, but it's not evidence, so don't try and make out it is.

I wouldn't trust either. The quicker SISU and the stadium management company go the better. New custodians who own the Ricoh would be fantastic for the Club.

Can you actually prove that any money has gone from the club into sisu's pockets?
The management fee's were used to distribute cost between the companies in the group. Not to fill sisu's pockets.
JS and TF have said it - not one penny has gone back to sisu.
Unless you can prove them wrong, you are only making up assumption to support your allegience. Doesn't make you right though and so you're fooling yourself.

Not one penny has gone back to them because there isn't one penny to take because of the way they have run our club. The fees are part of the debt they have run up in our club.

At one stage we were losing £500,000 a month they said. This wasn't for that long though as they did cost savings. So next work out how long they have been with us, how much debt they have run up and then the average that the debt has gone up in this time. A lot of the debt has come from elsewhere than put into running the club.

It's irrelevant. It's like saying that you got paid £400 this week and put it all in your left hand pocket. The your right hand pocket took £200 of it.

Have you taken a bang on the head? This just how I feel.

I trust openness. One side isn't that transparent. One side lies. If one side stays I know which I would prefer.

Or like you have -£70,000,000 in your pocket and someone takes out even more management fees for putting you in this situation.

But its 'paper money' - and it happens every day in every corporation. All around the world. It's not a sisu invention, it's a basic financial tool to balance costs and assets across companies within a group.

But sisu charge their investors - the funds - NOT the companies they manage. That's how they are paid. They are NOT paid by the club or any company within the SBS&L group. They are paid by the investors.

I think it all boils down to CCFC being run as a typical business. Football Clubs cannot be run the same way as other businesses and I don't think SISU realised this, hence why so many mistakes were made early on (financially).

Why can't a football be run as a business?
Are you saying a football club can only be run by a sugardaddy?

I'm not saying it cant be run as a business, I am saying it cant be run like a typical business. It is quite hard to make money with a football club.

If you want to be top prem, then yes sugar daddy-ing is required.

But the sugar daddy's are being restricted by FFP. That's why the club and stadium must be united. Otium will have to own the stadium and make their money there - while they support the club within the overall profit.

"Sugar daddys" do have the loophole of putting equity rather than loans into clubs.

Maximum is £6mio at the moment for PL clubs. The amount will decrease over the coming years.

I looked it up sometime ago but it was very poorly documented/explained. See if you can make sense of it here: http://www.financialfairplay.co.uk/financial-fair-play-explained.php

FFP is going to fall on its arse IMO. If clubs dont fall in to line on it what are they going to do? Points deduction? Fine? If it is just a fine then what does it matter to a "sugar daddy" .......

Do you really think the FL will turn to the likes of Chelsea or Man City and deduct them points for not meeting FFP? They don't have the balls as has been proven.

Does anyone actually know how many league football clubs in this country make a genuine profit? I can't imagine it can be that many but I'm happy to be corrected.

Not starting this again, but I never said and you know it.

Back to your original point where you told me to prove SISU hadn't charge rent to CCFC. I'd like to you prove they have.

BTW, have you set your own "balanced" forum up yet? I've just checked ACLtalk.co.uk is available.
