I mentioned this to my mate yesterday.

97 shots and 3 goals is really shocking.

Plan A: In our case, the three midfielders have to be further forward. It is alright criticizing Baka, Godden or even (Saint) Max, but they are continually isolated. Shipley in particular needs to get in there. There were few chances (if any?) in the box yesterday.
Plan B: One of McNulty's qualities was all the donkey work he did in and around the box, and in a different way, it is what Bright did. O'Hara has it in him to play in the centre as part of a three in 4-2-3-1.
Plan C: Throw one or two of the Under 23's in - they could do no worse than Hiwula et al.
Plan D: Revert to 4-4-2 with two big strikers, Godden & Max, dropping Westbrooke
Plans E, F and G will come from the rest of you

The thing is that yesterday many of the "shots" were born of desperation and a bit optimistic rather than guilt edged chances. In the 2nd half I can only think of one from Shipley from his free kick that forced a good save and one (I think Westbrooke) that scuffed wide, that were real "chances". And they were both outside the box. O'Hara missed one, while through, running at full pelt but on his wrong foot, in the 1st half. These are lower league defences. They always make mistakes in the box - I think most goals come that way - but we don't get in there. Even Dabo's crosses are a bit floaty.

When I was 10, I had this idea for our school team and was disappointed when no one was interested in trying it.

Is there any way we could magnetise the ball and then get people behind the goal to attend with magnets in their pockets? If the opposition are attacking that end they all move to a corner or high into the stands?

Just turn the magnet around, reverses the polarity

We’ve played 1 Upfront past 2 seasons,Chaplin struggled as Pompey fans told us he needs to play with a target man,Godden seems to be frustrated & snatching at chances from I feel being played on his own up there feeding of scraps majority of the time,at posh he played on a 41212.McNulty done well for us in recent times played in a 2.I think we’ve seen Godden fall Short past few weeks suffering with frustration & maybe confidence of being played on his own upfront.Robins recent interview about that fraudster Baka indicates we maybe going to a 2 up front & tbh if we are serious about promotion needs to happen sooner rather than later we don’t have the wide men for the 433 we haven’t all season tbh & it’s a shame Jobello is out as his crossing with 2 strikers would of done well for us no doubt the lad can deliver a cross.

Could we put a naked woman sitting by the top corner of the goal so the boys shoot in that direction?
