funnily enough i was only talking to my mate about this very game in the boozer yesterday.

Used as it as a yardstick of how far we've come.

It was more like 5000 in there that day and I remember us sat there bored and him sighing "wtf has happened to our club?"

Covid isn't really an excuse as football continues to break records

This is one of those games that I know I was at but just fall into a random category in my mind that includes a lot of the home games that season. Just some football in L2.

Maybe , i was thinking that, but every club that is there and is there now has a drop of about 10-20%.

Stoke, West brom, Blackburn, Hull. etc

We would have the 12th highest average attendance 3 years ago.

Yes we've lost villa Leeds Wednesday Norwich and Derby are in a shit state off the pitch which explains their decline in attendances

No bother getting served at half time, sit where you want, leave 20 minutes before the end and have a quick pint in Frankie and Bennys before the bus picked us up for a traffic jam free journey back to the pub - great days.

Think comparisons to the infamous season before would be more revealing just simply from how toxic the atmosphere was for a lot of it. At least in L2 that relationship between club and fans went some way to getting fixed

Look at Brentford's attendance. Not the best supported turn out winners if the club is run properly.

Was this the game Tony andreu got injured?

Look at the time and space Jones has for the goal. Compare that to when he came on against Swansea and there were 4 of them around him
