cheating fuckwit ,should be thrown out the game ,im getting pissed of the way any contact in football is a reason to go down and wank pundits agree with them saying its part of the game ,its fucking cheating and most of it the other player has been drawn in .I also think its time in footie that if you have not touched the ball /bought the ball under your control ,you can not then shield it ,this is to me blatent obstruction ,a lot of the time the ball is no where near the player shielding it

I'm glad we don't have an 'anti flop' policy here. If we did, all the City players would be fined every season for the last 14 years.

no, I think that is a lame punishment system that is meant to look like its doing something but is almost irrelevant. a small percentage of wages lost on the very rare occasion you get caught wow.

3 game bans for diving which can be given by tv evidence after the game + 30% of wages fine to be given to grassroots football + 80% of wages over 10k fine to be distributed equally between all football league clubs. ie if you wages are 10k per week the fine is 3k if your wages are 100k per week the fine is 75k. Those numbers open to change though the idea is to punish but not make it hard for players to pay their mortgage, ideally youd have a different fine structure per league.

Lets be frank I'm still being generous here, diving is cheating pure and simple and the punishment for cheating in other sports is much much serious than this. Honestly I'm not sure my suggestions go far enough, it's still a good idea to dive in an fa cup final under these rules.

Start at the top and work down. Every premier league game is covered on TV these days so have all that footage available and have an official go through it, any diving, OTT appealing to the ref etc then suspend the player for a couple of games. May seem harsh and it could be chaotic at first but they would soon stop if they knew they would get a suspension and massive fine everytime they did it.

It must take a lot of training of the mind to go down at the slightest touch. Surely the natural reaction for anyone is to try as hard as possible to stay on your feet. It's not even a conscious decision, it's an automatic reaction.

Totally agree with you olly, Ashley Young makes Ronaldo look like Norman "bite ya legs "Hunter.

Young is the worlds biggest diver and shouldn't be anywhere near international football. He makes my blood boil
