I read on a post on here over the weekend that Hoffman and Byng were at the Shrewsbury match together. First is that true, secondly if true how significant could that be we are led to believe, that the American PHIV and Hoffman and Elliott are one group interested in acquiring the club and Byng along with his Chinamen are another interested party. But if Hoff.and this Byng fella are at a game together are they all in this together or has the American disappeared into the darkness. Is this all wishful thinking on my behalf or can I get my hopes up a bit.

Would also like to get my hopes up jesus, but I can't help thinking that Fisher would put a stupid price tag on the club and nobody with any sense would buy it.

I am sure that is noted and would happen for any new investor, ACL or the Council, both and the Higgs Charity know that has to happen. This I believe is what has narked Sepalla, they, sisu, have no chance of any of that lot selling to them, despite JS admitting making mistakes in the past, the biggest being not buying into the Arena when given the chance to do so.

Tbf anyone with any business sense would value the club in its current form at less than zero...

It is, and has been previously remember Hoffman's pound offer two years ago. But united with the Ricoh makes the package valuable and sisu obviously know that with them out of the way it is likely the two will be re-united, so will value the football side of the business as if the team and Arena were one.

I spoke to Michael Byng and Gary Hoffman at half time on Saturday, yes they were there, as I said on a post on a different thread just after the game, they didn't say to much regarding there interest's in the club. Gary spoke about how it was suffering as fans to see us playing in Sixfields and that the atmosphere in the first half had a reflection to him of the days at HR, except that nowt else.

He mustn't have gone to HR very often then, it was noisy at Shrewsbury wasn't it?

HR was noisy when we were winning and quiet when we were not. Bit like the Ricoh.
Home games are usually predominantly quieter natured supporters. In addition the bigger attended games are people coming up on the back of a winning team and moan when its not what they expected.
Away games are always more vocal regardless of performance. Typical was the "Your not singing anymore" at Leeds when we scored a goal after going down 4-0. Interspersed with Twist and shout.
I used to go in the HR West End and it was always noisier. Went in the Main Stand once and started shouting and got hushed.

Well Mr Hoffman in my opinion it is time for some answers to the obvious questions, wouldn't expect too much meat on the bones but will expect more than a half smug smile and a chorus of Fishers' a wanker. See you on the Hill
