not goin to get my hopes up. Done that for tue last 9 yrs!! I say 9 as i said i wudnt get my hopes up at the start of the season just passed, and it so nearly worked for us, then christmas came, i got my hopes up again, and boom, our hopes were dashed!!
QPR spent money on wages rather than transfers which meant that they had the pick of those available and surplus to requirements in adition to some real quality. Tarabt would grace many Premiership sides and they had Kyle Walker for the first half of the season too. The largest budgets will always do better. It's a bid sad that's the case but the results consistently back it up at almost every level, every season. There are exceptions, but that's exactly what they are so let's pray that sooner or later we become an 'exception' too.

Also, it's rubbish you won't get promoted without major investment. It helps but didn't do Blackpool or Norwich any harm not throwing money about.

Your sentence was hypothetical because you were speculating what could, in your opinion, happen in a years time. THAT is what people are trying to tell you, just because YOU believe it and just because YOU put fact does NOT make it a fact.
