Just get the train towards Nuneaton and there is a station just outside the ground unfortunately you will just have to jump out of the moving train.

Get price before you get in and pay up front if driver won't give price go to next one in rank business is tight or better still flag one down and still negotiate

We should start an Uber style app where people can request lifts to the game on here.

I use Grindr for that, works well? The fellas giving the lift are always friendly chaps.

Don't forget up to the hour wait at the station as well.

Sorry folks but even a twenty minute wait for a train is laughable when you need to get to work. An interesting point in this with the rejuvenation of that area is the amount of former stations there are on that line. If we're going to get some underground carriages in then is it worth having a whole re-think of the infrastructure down there. Isn't there an abandoned loop line in Coventry?

Caught a taxi from station to the ricoh on Saturday. ...cost between 12 and 13 pounds.....only cost me a pound return from Brum to Cov on the train with the friends and family rail scheme!

Don't they run a shuttle bus from the station to the ground? If they don't they should do.

I've never seen one at the station, I've gone into the city centre and got the bus to Tesco if I've arrived early enough. Depending on the route and traffic a taxi can be £12-£16 I normally try and find someone else going to the game to share the cab and split the fare. You can also buy a plusbus ticket with your train fare which includes bus travel, not sure if it is all buses though.
