Depends if your taking on all the debt or not. With the debt I would say £1 for the club, without it maybe £6m.

As for the arena around £10m for the higgs trust share of acl, then depends on what the council would sell their share for, between £30m to £50m I would think.

That's easy, ask SISU!

Reality is the club is worth nothing, but SISU want their imaginary £30 million back, so you would have to negotiate that based on how much they would save by getting rid now. Guess £15 million to get rid of them.

Charity half of the stadium probably £5-10 million, but you would have to prove future investment plus a plan for regeneration of the surrounding area to get the council to agree. Think 5 year plan of £20 million to cover current losses plus the costs of regeneration, but you could franchise out those rights to net off the cost.

Council half of the stadium not for sale.

Then investment in the playing side would need at least another £15 million.

So wildest guess would be £60 million plus.

The other option would be wait for ACL to issue a winding up order against SISU and take the club on after liquidation (would mean starting in non-league as we are not Portsmouth) which would save £15 million.

All guess work as nobody knows the real state of our club other than SISU who don't give a shit about it.

Why couldn't I win the euro millions..140mill
40 mill for myself and family..I would've invested 100million into ccfc would've made the Ricoh about 5k smaller and put a tier at either end.15-20mill on players over 3 seasons.

Totally agree. We could do it now and it now only wouldn't cost anything it could raise money.

Put a wall around the Ricoh at roughly where the vomitaries come out. Should bring us close to 18-20k. Then more space for adverts, banners or just city related art by local artists.

Plus make it right and it can be taken out for big cup games and other events. Would bring the crowd together and generate a better atmosphere plus if the right mix of fan banners, local themed art and adverts is right could make the Ricoh feel more like home.

I was thinking about this with all the big lottery jackpots. I figured £40m to £50m.

£10m to ACL, £30m to Council and £10m to SISU, no more though. I think all parties would take that if it was a way out for all if them.

Why should SISU except £10 million when hey have invested over £30m keeping the club above water? Would you accept £1 for every 3 owed you? Think £70 million. And you have bought the club but have no more money to keep it afloat. £100M would be enough and might get you within touching distance of the Prem but surviving on gates of 32000 would be difficult. Rubbish. They'd snap your hands off for 10 million. If they liquidate or go into admin they will lose a lot more as the club owns nothing for them to recover.

They can't make the club profitable. They've failed and they know it. No-one would give them their 30m back. They know it's lost. The only chance they have now is the club getting promoted, getting the fans in and cashing in on players. The 2 don't go hand in hand though.

Eventually convince the council you care about the club (even though you dont).
Promotion to championship. Do same thing in championship staying mid table.
Buy half stadium.
Sell the whole package for 30 million.
Selling the dream of the premiership.
3 year plan I think.

If i won a euro millions jackpot of over a £100 million i would instantly pay off sisu even if they wanted all there money back. I would then sell to somone like the hoff as i would have no clue what to do next. And hope he would know what to do with his £1 purchase and i would feel confident that he would given his background. After all i would be happy with a couple of million for my family and myself.

Agreed, they are losing £4m per year so they save £20m in 5 years by doing one.

I think nobody has answered the OP's question yet?

The stadium was built in total for somewhere around £110m depending on which sources you read.
So IF you wanted to get the trust and the council out of the picture then you will need that kind of money.

Then a figure to dismiss SISU probably around 20m. To satisfy them and their debts and purchase the football franchise.

Then it's yours! First though you have to see if the council would sell the stadium as they would want development conditions rolled into any deal for hotels and future investment in the land. For that another 50m of future funding proof would do the trick.

Now serious investment in the team will only begin for the premiership and a reserve for that of around 35m would do nicely.

...and the potential returns?

Tv money, full houses, arean development and other uses, hotels etc would be massive with a football club anchored there.

The freehold is the 110m. The 10m often bounded about is for a 50% share of the lease in the Ricoh arena with ACL (who were set up by the council and the Higgs trust) That would give us rights to share in some profits from events aside from football and any other activities carried out under the leasehold. Rent would still be paid. It would represent a huge improvement in the value of the fotball club to be a leaeholder of the ground but financially not so much perhaps. Overheads are high and a share of 50% means you only get half of the operating profits.

A buyout for 110m would be a different matter and freehold.
