Looking down the squad list from the top of my head i can only think we have bought Bell and Mcdonald probably works out less than a Million pounds. Our board of directors are probably paid more than that in 6 months.

Wages are where it's at when it comes to calculating our squad's cost. If I remember correctly, Andy Turner on a CET web video today said there was one player on £10,000 a week and others on £4,000, £5,000 & £6,000 a week. To put that in context, £5,000 a week is £260,000 a year - or more than what Tim Fisher wants to pay ACL in rent for an Olympic quality venue.

So what your saying is if Bell fell in front of a bus we could then pay the rent?

Perhaps the residents that live on or near the olympic marathon and race cycling route should pay additional council tax for living in Olympic quality venues..?

I was simply emphasising that it is a higher quality stadium than the League 1 average.

But we are playing nearly 5 times the championship average let alone league one.

The arena as a whole is a brilliant multi use venue however we only use the 100 x 50m big of lawn and accompanying seats for 3-4 hours 23-25 times a year.

Clown. Baker cost in excess of half a million, Barton £125,000, Hussey £100,000, Wood £250,000, Bell £650,000, McDonald £425,000 and Dunn £80,000.

Yet most fans are screaming for SISU to sign McGoldrick.

That is morally disgusting.

We need to feed the bloated ACL belly first.

We could be using 32000 seats in it every second week. if SISU had made wise decisions in the past

So we had a full house under the previous owners as well did we.

I thought you did not want to dwell on the past?

Do you mean by spending money that they didn't have on better quality players?

well, as the thread started about how much the current squad cost, on transfers i reckon about £1.2m,
and as the thread has gone on the question is posed as to monies various persons have,
i read somewhere that in 2006 sisu were supposed to be worth $388m, i wonder what that is now ?
