More polls.

Make whatever assumptions you want about sales and investment. How much do you *expect* us to spend this summer? (I.e. you’d be unhappy if it’s less).

Want to get a gauge of expectations.

Gone for £5-10 mil on the basis, Gyok goes and Hamer stays (fingers crossed), some money is used by the club and some goes MR.

If Hamer goes expect more but it’ll be interesting.

If by some miracle both sign new deals and stay….(won’t happen) I reckon only a couple of million and more frees and loans

I’ve gone £10-15m on the assumption we sell both Hamer and Vik so if we spend less than £10m I’d feel short changed.

Hit £0-2 but that's net spend. Of course sales would hopefully increase that.

I've gone 2 to 5 on the expectation that Vik and Gus stay.
Either way I'd expect 5 loans, and some freebies and some young kids coming in.

I expect our wage bill to go up quite significantly, as we'd be looking to pick up some players released from Premier league sides, who will come free but demand higher wages than we are used to paying.

Gone with the hunch we'll sell Vik and keep Hamer. Invest back in from Vik's fee, but £5-10m for me

I'd expect up to £10m with sale of Vik and maybe £12-15m if Hamer goes.

Go get a a decent striker for £7-£5m, then a couple of £2m players. Yhen pad out with good quality frees.

It depends on how much we bring in and how well we do getting free agents in.

If you’re gonna start throwing around “play offs 3 times in the next 5 years” and the fact we have a serious rebuild - I’d expect 5m- 10m

Likely to be 0-2m though

I can't see us keeping either, so this is what I'd go for. Think we'll be short changed though.

I’ve also gone with between £5 -£10m. Sadly Vik will go and with at least 7 clubs already expressing their interest in signing him, it can only go in our favour when a bidding war commences. We can never replace his style of play, but we need to recruit 2 strikers who will get at least 20+ goals between them. Massive transfer window on the horizon. Give Gus what he wants, make him captain and build a team around him. PUSB

Really can't say without knowing if Gyok and/or Hamer are going and for how much.

Also depends on what the wages are - we could sign a couple of players on a free on high wages that means we spend less on fees.

I'm just hoping that we sign players that will a) improve the first team and b) give us a larger competitive squad to pick from

I've had look at stats for strikers in leagues and teams across Europe at first and second tiers. There are very very few that compare to Gyok in terms of goals and assists for someone of his age. We have a huge asset. That said maybe some in B/Youth teams or who sit on bench for first teams that could replace him if/when he leaves.

10-15. Assuming Gyokeres is sold and Hamer stays. I would like to see half of any sales reinvested into the team, some towards talented young players from lower leagues like Burnley did with McNally and Twine, and then some to bolster the first team to keep up the momentum.

£2-5M on the basis Hamer stays; if he leaves, £6m-7m.

All depends, I would say 2-5m but if vik and gamer goes can be anywhere up to 15m I wish being spent.

Gone with 5-10m, even if we sell both Hamer and Vik I just can't see the cash being splashed so heavily, hope I'm wrong but I'm a bit of pessimist at times.

Viks name is popping everywhere, I saw a pod earlier of one of the well known Man united streamers/fans suggesting they buy him as a backup for whoever else they buy! Imagine Vik coming off the bench to support Rashford and Harry Kane for United .

Why would you want the club to announce how much we’ve got to spend/are prepared to spend on players to other clubs?
Most teams do it now anyway.

I’d expect us to get £17m for Vik and £8m for Hamer. I think they are both worth more but their contractual situation will dilute what clubs will pay and what we will accept, given the risk associated with them running the contracts down.

I think Doug will make 50% available to MR and invest a bit in the training facilities too.

Robins will try to spend around 75% of his budget but leave some back for January.

Vik and Hamer are only goal threat really and therefore replacing them will be exceptionally hard. Robins as seen how far having a tight defence can take us and again I think he will focus on securing a strong defence this summer.

I expect Panzo to stay, hope McNally signs too, and for 2 more central defenders to join.

we need 2 RWB’s and another LWB if Bidwell leaves, and I think he will.

I think Robins has noticed we lack pace and power in our forward options and I expect him to try to correct that this summer.

Wages will be the limit. Spend big and those players will want high wages. I think the wage bill is likely to be similar to last season perhaps a little higher but we'll be paying Frasers' more for the ground too. If you start spending transfer income on the general budget then you have to keep selling...

Surely if there are a lot of clubs interested the fact there’s only one year left is negated?

I understand your point but I’m not sure that’s how the football model works.

You agree a playing budget for transfers and salaries. Sometimes it will be more economic to sign better quality free transfers on higher wages than to sign contracted players of the same quality with a fee.

The key however is not doing anything that undermines what is clearly a very good dressing room.
