Mondays article hints another striker will be coming AS WELL as Bruno

Striker gets Sky Blues trial as Thorn eyes two more targets

ANDY Thorn has drafted in an experienced Brazilian striker to bolster Coventry City's attack.
The big centre-forward was due at Ryton today along with an exciting attacking German midfielder who likes to play wide, joining the Sky Blues on trial with a view to signing permanent contracts at the Ricoh Arena.

The pair will be joined at training by talented young season-long loan signings * centre-back Reece Brown from Manchester United and striker Callum Ball from Derby County * who will provide both height and presence at either end of the pitch.

Another striker is also understood to be on City's radar and close to joining the club.
......................................

That would take us up to 8 strikers !:thinking about:

About time!

8 in each third of the pitch = 24
+ goalkeepers means a squad of 26/27
Whats wrong with that!,

Thorn said last season he wanted Jeffers to go out on loan to gain experience but never could cos he needed the body, so I presume that still stands.

Well its a very mixed bunch.

Cody the main man from what thorn has us belive

Elliot and Cazarine are experinced but dont have brillant scoring records.

Jeffers and Ball dont have a huge amount of experince.

ROD maybe this division will be his pace.

I can see them all chipping in but other than Cody i would be suprised if any break 10 or more. Would be awsome if they do and have hopes that they can but provided they can all rotate and the likes of Fleck and Mcsheffery provide decent service and they all chip in it looks very positive.
