I still think we can catch Barnsley but we'd need 7-9 points

Win the 2 home games gives us 46.
Bristol will lose to West Ham and I think their game v Barnsley becomes pivotal. Even if they win that would give them only 1point advantage and poorer goal difference going into the final game. Under those circumstances they would have to go for the win at Burnley as 1 point may not be enough. I half expect them to go down on goal difference.

Simple, 49 points will see us safe. Realisticly we will only get 46.

We will probably beat Millwall and Doncaster and loose to Southampton giving 46 points.
if Bristol only draw with Barnsley we can scrape through on GD over them on 45
If Bristol beat barnsley we need an extra point at Southampton to get thu on GD over Barnsley on 47.

I think Barnsley could get a point at Hull on Tuesday, that would probably put them out of our reach.

Trying to predict Bristols results over the last few weeks has been a nightmare, the majority of us had them down as getting beat by forest, we all had them down to get beat by Birmingham and in between that they've beaten us. We can't deny they have a fighting spirt.. more so than ourselves currently.

If we were to win our next two games and Bristol City lose their games (best case scenario).. we would still need a point at St Marys or to match Bristols result- so if they lost so could we... 47 minimum.. maybe 49?

Realistically it looks like we'll have to avoid defeat in the remaining fixtures, with Brizzle at home to Barnsley on the last day, if we're still in the equation we will certainly need something at St Mary's.

Bristol are away to Burnley on the last day.

Yeah - I worry we'll fall at the first hurdle and slip up on Tuesday. Although with them safe it's possible they'll take their eye off the ball a bit and be thinking of holidays.

Why do they worry you?

Last sequence of results;

Lost, lost, lost, lost, drew, drew, lost, lost, lost. They actually have just one win in 18 games.

Not saying it iis going to be easy, but there is surely nothing to worry about with Donny.

It's not them that worry me-it's the fact that we can hardly field a team that worries me!

We can only look after ourselves. Noting we can do about Bristol's results now, that chance has gone. We have to just try and win the Millwall game and go on from there.

We can get 46 points - Bristol City 2 draws 46 points we stop up on GD - happy days

No, not saying it will be easy and I'm sure it will be a tough game. Just can't see that we should worry about them at all.

Who would it be okay to play then if we are worried about Donny? Who else in this division would we rather play other than the team sitting smack bang at the bottom of the table? :thinking about: Do pray tell!

All we can do is beat Millwall and Doncaster and that may give us the impetus to get a result at Southampton.

They also have the luxury of a proper squad of players to choose from and rotate accordingly.

We will need to win our last 3 games

Bristol will Beat Barnsley and draw at home to West Ham and away at Burnley which will give them 49 points. If we win our last 3 games we would stay up on goal diff.
That will not happen. We blew it away to Forest and Bristol and at home to Peterborough.
