Remaining games:

Birmingham Home - 0pts
Watford Away - 1pt
Cardiff Away - 0pts
Portsmouth Home - 3pts
Hull Away - 0pts
Peterborough Home - 1pt
Bristol Away - 1pt
Burnley Away - 0pts
Millwall Home - 3pts
Doncaster Home - 3pts
Southampton Away - 0pts

12pts out of the 11 games which would give us a total of 41 pts which wont be enough in my eyes

Well obviously we can get 33 points. We won't though.

Birmingham Home - 0pts
Watford Away - 1pt
Cardiff Away - 0pts
Portsmouth Home - 3pts
Hull Away - 0pts
Peterborough Home - 3pts
Bristol Away - 0 pts
Burnley Away - 0pts
Millwall Home - 1pt
Doncaster Home - 3pts
Southampton Away - 1pt (if they are in the playoffs and will rest players).

i make that 11 points. Will give us 41 too. That almost certainly will not keep us up. 42 if the Saints thing goes our way.

44 would be enough I think.

That would be fanstastic. But you do have us winning 4 games and drawing 3 out of 11.

That is all but play-off form.

42 might just do it this year.

We mightily need those away points. If we could just get 1, just 1 draw somewhere, then maybe the belief will come back that we can get something on our travels.

I'm all but certain now that we turn up to away fixtures expecting to lose. We need to change the mentailty. Fook it, I'd even consider hypnotherapy or a psychologist being brought in.

14 more points, 43 total.

Not too sure about the Donny and Millwall wins though, by then the pressure could be huge and in those sorts of games anything can happen.

I wonder how much Goal Difference will influence the final outcome.

Current GD

CCFC @ -19
Forest @ -23
Donny @ -24
Brizzle @ -26

I know things will change week by week but all things being equal and we somehow maintain the GD we have it's got be a small advantage possibly equivalent to an extra point maybe !!!

Clutching at straws I know

My worry there though is that instead of the odd goal defeats we were getting earlier in the season away from home, the last 3 away games have been defeats by 2 clear goals. If that continues we could well see our goal difference getting worse. Last two home wins have only been by the odd goal. Last 3 away defeats have been 2-0, 2-0, 2-0.

If we are going to keep losing we might as well, just to keep the goal difference down.
