I was just wondering how many minutes of football a player should get on the pitch before I start waving my fist in the air?

Is it the equivalent of 1 game, 2 games, 4 games???

I'd like to be as outraged as everyone else but am struggling with the semantics of when to get angry.

So I'm not allowed to be reasonable on here, without the temperament of a 5 year old?

Of course you are, its fine doing that

But making a post trying to be sarcastic and failing badly while the squad at the moment is in disarray is just a bit weird

If you understood it was sarcasm then how can it have failed?

If the point was fully understood, then I see no issue. There were posters saying we were going to get relegated around the same time last year - how did that turn out? Now there are posters saying the squad is in "disarray".

Performances were there last year even though results wernt and we knew the potential that team had as it had been proven.

This team in a particular a couple of players I'm sorry have no proven ability at a the level.

Not sure, some of the performances early last season were very poor as well.

Last season the optimism to turn things around was we had Sheaf, Gus, Vik and O’Hare about to return from a knock. This time we have Kelly, Eccles, £7m Baka and O’Hare to hopefully return ok from a serious injury.

Seriously? Do you not recall the feelings towards Hamer at the start of last season. There was no optimism towards Hamer.

I don’t recall people doubting his ability - frustrated at his two red cards - yes because we would miss him through his stupidity

This time last season we were taking bets about how many red cards Gus would get, and many were saying we should have cashed in on Vik as he was unlikely to have another good season IIRC. Others were moaning about O'Hare's lack of end product.

It's a big ask for a player like O'Hare to turn things around after a big injury he has had.

That's a good thing, but the comments about sentiments at the start of last season aren't specifically directed at you.

So many examples of mass overreaction from numerous posters, O'hare being an obvious target time and time again over the last few years. Amazing how so many feel like his return is a major part of the answer, after the multiple occasions he's been slated for the weaknesses to his game. Genuinely believe that if he comes back and misses 5 or 6 chances it will be open season on here.

I said it in January, and I’ll say it again: the signs are not awfully encouraging at the minute, however I’d love for the team to prove me wrong. Preferably before March.

Love it.

23 points in the 11 games o'hare played last season is probably why an upturn expected, but will take time to get up to speed after such a serious injury and that's if he's ever the same.

At the Watford game someone a few rows up screamed that Ayari was a lazy c**t who should go back to Brighton, just before he did a little fancy dribble past three players. He couldn't have put in half an hour for us overall by that point, seemed a little quick to rage.

Pinning hope on O'Hare is a bit like when we thought J Jones was gonna come back and save the day. It's a worry.

I wouldn't necessarily say we are in the shit. Worst comes to worst O'Hare takes a while to get up to speed, but we still have january to solve that issue.

Do people really sit there going back over the multitude of opinions stated on a football forum. The club is in good shape, the team is a little disjointed at the moment and quite rightly there is serious concern as to whether we’ve been robbed blind for two bang average looking strikers. It’s still early days but 4/5 more games becomes a 1/4 of the season…..oh and we fucked up the League cup run as usual.

Problem is even with gykores and hamer last season we only just scraped into the play offs, we were always going to struggle this season maybe we’re expecting a bit too much to soon from the new lads, just hope we don’t turn on the team and robins, we’ve come a long way in a short time, stick with them
